Mary had no idea what she wanted to transform into. It was very difficult.
She knew she wanted to be an animal, but what kind of animal? There were so many in the world. She peered into the box.
It was only the starter kit, but it still came with loads of different coloured vials. Most of them were animals, but two of them seemed to be genders, and there was a brown frothy one in the corner that didn't have a picture on it. Mary wasn't touching that one. She took out the ones that weren't animals, and read the box:
Starter Kit contains: Dog, Cat, Pig, Cow, Sheep, Horse, Donkey, Rabbit, Chicken, Male and Female. Plus, every box has two randomly selected unique animals that could be anything!
This excited Mary. She looked inside the box, and found two tubes with shiny stickers. Underneath each of them, instead of pictures, the name of the animal was written. Mary was pleased to see that she had got 'Elephant' and 'Camel' as her random animals.
She continued reading:
The brown vial is a control vial to return the consumer back to its original form should it be needed.
Vials will only take effect if the entire product is consumed, otherwise no physical effects will occur. The vials will refill if it is entire empty or is left for 24 hours.
Mixing the vials is highly dangerous and should not be consumed, as it can cause illnesses and, in rare cases, deaths. If the vials become mixed, simply wash it out with water and replace it.
That was everything. Mary could hardly wait. But which vial?
She decided to pick a random one. She covered her eyes and plucked a vial from the box, only sure that it was an animal.
Then, she swallowed the mixture in one gulp. It tasted sweet and citrussy, like cough syrup. She waited for it to take its effect.
She was sat for about five minutes, and nothing was happening. She was very dissapointed.
The doorbell rang. She was losing hope in the vials. She went down to answer it.
It was an old friend, Bethany. She kind of knew her, but she was a very nice person. Her smile was huge when Mary opened the door. "Mary!" she said.
"Bethany!" Mary exclaimed back. They hugged. It was nice getting visitors.
Mary had to be polite. "Er, do you want to come in?" She asked.
Bethany shook her head. "No, I'm fine, I was just on my way, but I thought I'd say hi."
Suddenly, Mary felt something. It was a tingle, pleasant, but curious. She thought nothing of it. "So, how's things?"
As soon as she said that, the tingle occurred again. It was big enough that she could identify it. Something was happening...
