James was a happy man. He married Karen, the woman of his life, after six years of engagement, and finally she was pregnant. He had to become father!!
They decided to go out for shopping that day, and choosed that maternity store that she remembered from the hint of her older sister.
He waited patiently while his woman looking at some pants, but when he looked again at her, she looked a little different. From when her shoulders are so wide? And he didn't noticed that fine hairs that sprouted on them!
And her arms... why they looked so toned and unmistakably hairier? And her legs too, even if her tight pants hiden her skin, are so muscled! Her feet are bigger than he remembered, and what are these hairs above her fingers??
Then she turned her face, so Jamed can't see her for some seconds. When she turned again to speak with him, she had a noticeably different face! Thinner lips, angular jawbone ans covered by a certain amount of stubble, and her beautiful eyes were surrounded by thick unruly eyebrows. She had an adam apple too!
James thought that it was a nightmare: how his sweet Karen could be so.... manly?? "Manly... manly...", this word echoed on his mind, until it didn't looks so wrong. After all, he started to think, Karen always looked like this, and suddenly he remembered the several times that they shaved their face toghether, crossing her shyness to admit that she's able to grow a beard.
"She"? thoght James noticing the big bulge that snaked down her left pant leg. He smiled silently, thinking at the weird situation that he experienced from when he married Ken, his guyfriend, after six years of secret relationship until they came out and married. And now, Ken tried this new therapy for artificial insemination, the first man on history.
"Having trouble?" he asked to the male-mom-to-be with genuine care.
Ken frowned and spoke in his soft husky voice, as though he's trying to sound as feminine as possible, "A little."
James smile changes to a look of concern and he places a hand on Ken's swollen stomach, "Are you okay?"
"Don't worry, it's not that," the newly transformed man laughs softly, "I just need to make a quick run to the restroom."
And hurried to the bathroom, choosing the women's restroom.
