Cindy was a little upset as she walked through the mall. She had been rejected for another model photo shoot. This time is was because she was too under weight, she needed to gain a couple pounds and come back. The idea of gaining weight made her cringe. She had always fought to keep her weight under control and was not going to gain a pound for just one photo shoot. On her way though the mall today she noticed a store that she hadn’t seen before, The Magic Box. The name was intriguing, and for some reason she felt drawn towards the store. She entered and began to browse the many odd artefacts and elixirs. She notices a few other people in the store, eyeing the items with curiosity. The store was very creepy and she could see the others thought so too. A man touched her on the shoulder and she jumped.
‘I believe this is what you are looking for.’ he told her.
He was holding a wooden box. He lifted the lid to reveal 20 little perfume bottles each with a little tag.
Cindy looked at the little bottles, ‘I don’t wear perfume’ she told him
The old man grinned, ‘these are not ordinary perfumes, the next time you want that modelling job these little bottles will help you.’
Cindy was intrigued. ‘How much? She asked.
‘For you $20’ he smiled.
Cindy paid the man; he placed the box in a plastic bag for her. As he handed it to her, he warned her.
‘The effects are only temporary, only lasting a few hours. They are very powerful so use them very sparingly.
Cindy left the store and sat down on a bench in the mall, she opened the wooden box and eyed the bottles. ‘Now lets see how do I know these will work?’ She thought to herself.
