notices that his chewed up rubber skin is oozing latex and healing. Then he notices that the dog seems to be getting lighter, and its fur is matting together and developing a glossy sheen. The dog rolled over, and let out a squeak, as Kyle squeaked too. Kyle found he was able to slide out from underneath the rubberizing golden retriever. As he slipped out from beneath the rubber dog, the dog awoke. He let out squeaks instead of barking. Its rubber teeth closed on Kyle's rubber leg, and both squeaked. Kyle laughed a squeaky laugh, and shuffled toward Bruno's house with the dog attached to his leg. At least it didn't hurt.
As Kyle approached Bruno's house, he noticed that Bruno's lawn looked like it was artificial grass, and the house had a shiny texture, maybe it was vinyl siding? But when Kyle's foot sank in the sidewalk leading up to Bruno's house, he knew that it was all rubberized. He pushed the doorbell, and his finger vanished into the flexible wall. The bell sounded different, but it sounded. Chad opened the door.
"Cool, Kyle, you brought your dog with you. What's his name?" Chad asked.
