When Luke pulled his hands out from the closet, he found them clutching a unique shirt and pants. The shirt was a plain red and the pants were a simple deep blue, but that was not what was unusual. What Luke noticed the most was the size of the clothes: they were size XL. He wondered what he would do with clothes like these, and thought for a long time. Then he remembered a popular game that had been seen on several YouTube videos by siblings and friends alike: the Conjoined Twins Challenge.
Luke had no desire whatsoever to try the game with his sister, and for two good reasons: she was too small to fit in the clothes with him, and he KNEW that she would tell their parents about the new wardrobe. Luke wanted to keep this gift a secret--at least, a secret from his family...
One phone call and fifteen minutes later, Luke's friends Mark and Max arrived at the door. With the house to themselves, Luke showed them upstairs to his closet, explaining everything as they looked.
"Well, I think that sounds like a LOT of fun," Mark said to Luke. "Let's get dressed!"
First, Luke fit his legs into the left-hand side of the pants--both legs in the same pants leg. After some difficulty, Luke and Mark managed to get Mark's legs into the right-hand pants leg. Their hands dragged the pants up towards the waist, resulting in the appearance of two boys with two torsos, four arms, two legs, and four feet--feet that were easily disguised beneath over-sized socks and shoes from the closet. Then Mark lifted the shirt above their heads, with Luke helping Mark fit their two heads into the head hole. After fitting their arms through the holes and pulling the shirt down to the pants, they walked/stumbled to the mirror to see an impressive sight: two arms, two legs with one foot each, one pair of pants, one shirt, but two different heads.
"So freaking cool!" Mark said.
"Almost like brothers, huh?" Luke asked enthusiastically.
As Luke and Mark smiled, Max began listing tasks that the two could attempt in the costume. Plenty of tasks were listed: jumping jacks, push-up, juggling, making food, playing basketball, and so on. When Luke and Mark began, they were naturally uncoordinated by carrying the weight of another person. But as time went by, they strangely began to accomplish each task in less and less time, as if they had been conjoined twins for their whole lives. The trio began to notice this as Max and Luke/Mark walked back into Luke's room, and began to wonder what--if anything--was going on underneath the clothes. Luke reached his left hand for the shirt and Mark reached with his right. Slowly, the boys began to slowly list the shirt up towards their shoulders...
