Tad inhaled deeply. "Come in," he said.
The door opened, and four boys the same age as himself stepped in.
"So you're the new werewolf in town," the first one said, "It's not often that a new werewolf moves into Moon Lake. I'm Nate by the way, and this is Ben, Alex, and Eric."
Nate extended his hand, offering a handshake.
Tad accepted the handshake. "Nice to meet you guys," Tad said, "My name's Tad. My mom told me about the town, and how almost everyone is a were creature; is that true?"
"Sure is," Alex said, "There's a variety of creatures here; wolves, foxes and cats to name a few."
"So, what wereanimal are you?," Ben asked.
"Oh, I'm a werewolf," Tad said, "But I wasn't able to change into my wolf form very much at my old home. Because it was a major risk to change, I'd be the reason that all werecreatures over the world would be captured and tested on. I almost got caught, and that's why we moved away."
"Yikes, that must have been hard," Eric said,"But now you're here, and you and your parents won't have to worry about anything."
"Parent," Tad corrected, "I never got to know my dad. He left when I was really young. The only thing my mom will tell me about him is that e was a werewolf, and I take after him."
"Sorry about that," Eric said, "How about we go do something else?"
