Many locations were chosen, many were made. It would do good if some meddling human or other entity came along and ruined everywhere, they would come in every shape and size, changing humanity everywhere. And the dragons had a friendly bet going to see how could charm the most human into being changed.
Dragons knew how to shape shift, they simply almost never made use of it, after all, how could any dragon bear to be in any shape except their utterly perfect own?
The little new spa was opened by a single East Indian woman named 'Tia Matta.' The spa didn't have much, but the woman's advertisements promised they'd be expanding soon. And understanding human nature, didn't give it away for free, then humans would think it was no good. Instead she planned to charge an obviously unreasonable amount at first, then quickly slash her prices to attract bargain hunter.
The first customer, was ironically a business woman named Claudia, almost known for being a tad on the ruthless side. She came to the new spa, having high expectations for a place run by one woman charging such obscene amounts. Tia Matta, true to form, had the spa treatment be paid for in advance.
The treatments themselves were perfectly mundane, and a chemical analysis of what Tia Matta used would turn up nothing. She did advertise she was all natural after all. Of course, when the blood of the dragon and magic was involved...
There was a brutal massage which Claudia more sore than relaxed... then the hot steaming room that nearly had her melt... by then... the mud bath was welcome.
Her entire body sank into the mud. She let her thoughts drift in the muck. When Tia Matta told her she was 'complete' Claudia was actually reluctant to leave. But Tia Matta helped her out, and cleaned off the mud. The outer layer fell away... revealing shinning red scales, claws daggers, teeth like knifes, a tail as brutal as a whip, wings that could turn over a man, and a breath that was a lethal weapon. The dragon woman as she washed away the mud had no nipples in spite of still having the maternal shapes on her chest, and other things now being internal for the reptile like creature.
Tia Matta looked with satisfaction, Claudia was no mix of human and dragon DNA, but a dragon that naturally walked on two legs and could use tools and work in a group. She smelled of iron, brimstone, and blood, and for a dragon this was perfectly natural. Her eyes now slit and yellow like a cats. Her face now a scaled snout. Her hair gone and replaced with a black mane that ran down her neck.
Claudia moved with a sway in her steps and tail like she'd had them all her life, her wings folded behind her.
Tia Matta handed her a mirror. "How do you look?"
Claudia looked into the mirror, and saw a dragon looking back. "Perfect!"
Tia Matta clapped her hands. "Excellent! Be sure to tell your friends about her! I'm eager for customer!"
Claudia agreed, and took her curse and walked outside naked, letting the world see her draconic perfection. While many looked at her, none screamed and ran, nor did any call the police to arrest her for indecent exposure. Even one of her co-workers calmly waved at her and she waved back as she walked down the street. The business dress she'd worn coming in already winking out of existence as her photo ID changed as well.
Tia Matta wondered how the others were doing.
