Jarred and Sam reached for the ring, but Kelly jumped back, protectively cupping it in her hands. Dawn continued to look through the clothes, unaware of the struggle.
"Give me that! It's mine, " said Jarred angrily.
"Sheesh, I was just looking at it. I wish you guys weren't so grabby, and would just let me hold it for a while, " said Kelly.
Jarred and Sam suddenly stopped trying to get the ring, and dropped their hands to their sides.
"So, it is a magic ring, " said Kelly smiling. "Tell me, how does it work?"
Jarred just crossed his arms across his chest and pouted defiantly.
"Not going to talk, huh? Fine, I guess I will have to do it the old fashioned way. Magic ring, I wish I knew how Jarred and Sam had used this ring, " said Kelly.
Kelly's eyes glazed over, and she swayed while she was standing. Jarred desperately wanted to grab the ring while she was incapacitated, but her wish prevented him from acting. When Kelly regained consciousness, she scowled angrily at Jarred and Sam.
"You assholes! You are the reason I have these massive weights on my chest, not to mention the back pain. Do you have any idea how awful you have made puberty for girls? How painful the changes in your body and bones can be? Well let's see how you like it. I wish Jarred and Sam were prepubescent girls!" said Kelly.
Jarred's eyes went wide as he realized the implications of Kelly's wish. Every horrible thing they had done to Dawn and the other girls were about to be visited upon themselves. They didn't have long to ponder it, as their bodies suddenly felt very weird. Everything seemed to be getting bigger, and their clothes felt loose. Before their eyes, their hands became smaller, with long slender fingers. Long hair cascaded down their backs, and before their eyes. Thankfully, because they were prepubescent, they did not develop the enormous breasts or ridiculously thin waists of the other girls in the mall. When it was over, Jarred brushed the hair out of his eyes and found himself looking up at the now much taller Kelly.
Dawn had seen the transformation from afar, and ran over to help her friends. She saw the ring in Kelly's palm, and quickly deduced what had happened.
"My God, Kelly, what have you done to them?" said Dawn.
"Serves 'em right. I was just giving them what they deserve, " said Kelly.
"What are you talking about? They haven't hurt anyone. You have to turn them back, " said Dawn.
"Oh, right. I almost forgot you didn't know, " said Kelly. She held the ring up in her palm. "I wish that Dawn was aware of all the wishes that these two idiots have made."
Dawn eyes glazed over, just like Kelly's had previously. When she came out of her trance, she glared at Jarred angrily.
"You assholes! I thought we were friends! I trusted you, " yelled Dawn.
"Dawn, I can explain, " said Jarred, surprised by the high and squeaky tone of his new feminine vice.
Dawn grabbed the ring out of Kelly's hand. "You know, you deserve your punishment. But I don't think you should have to wait for it. I wish that every hour Jarred and Sam will have a growth spurt and their bodies will age 6 months until they reach my age. "
Dawn then tossed the ring into a nearby mall fountain. "Have fun with your new bodies, and good luck getting home, " said Dawn, as she stormed away with tears in her eyes.
