This sounded like an amazing idea, after all, my boyfriend Mat was a genius when it came to this kind of stuff, and besides,who doesn't love snow? I pulled my robe closer around me and headed back into the living room, I heared a sqeak in the corner and looked over at Mat's pet mouse, it was then that I realized what's wrong with this idea, mutant animals? That's just wrong, and what about the other seasons? I have always preferred Fall to Winter anyway. I realized that Mat cannot do this and went back to confront him.
"Mat!" I exclaimed, I got his attention and continued, "You can't do this." "Do what?" Mat asked innocently, "Make eternal Winter that's what."
"Why not Amanda?"
"Because it's just wrong, you can't change nature, it's not fair to everyone else."
"So? It's not for them, it's for you and me."
"MAT! You know my favorite season is Fall, and don't even think about eternal Fall."
"Oh."
"And that whole mutant animal thing, what's that all about?"
"That's so they can survive..."

"But with my gift, they will thrive!" Mat proclaimed triumphantly, he was acting strange, like the power of the ring was going to his head, I had to stop this, "Mat, you need to stop this, you're not acting normal, please, take off he ring." Mat was suddenly furious, "Why are you being such a bitch Amanda?! Just because I have so much power I have to throw it away, why don't I take away you're ring? You obviously don't know how to use it." Just then a beam came from his ring and blasted my own, destroying it instantly, I was startled but not harmed, "Good," I cried, "I don't want that power anyway." Mat just laughex, he was right, I didn't sound very convincing.
"Now Amanda, if you continue to rebel against me, I might have to dispose of you, but if you join me, I might be merciful and return your ring." He smiled, I had a tough decision to make, if I decided to join him, the word would surely go to shit, but if I refused he would surely kill me, even though I had made a wish that he could not kill me with wishes, he could still kill me with his other powers. What to do?
