After what seems like hours, the fairy calls the work to a halt. "Okay girls, I think that is enough for today, " says the fairy.
You look at the bag and are surprised to find it half empty. Being so small you were only able to carry a teaspoon worth of dirt at a time. But the multitude of fairies working simultaneously beside you helped to move a large amount of dirt quickly.
You are exhausted, and covered in dirt. But at least the moaning has become a low hum. You can think clearly again. The fairy comes up to you, and pats you on the back.
"You did a good job, for your first day. C'mon, I'll help you get cleaned up, " says the fairy.
She flies away, and you follow her, flapping your own tired wings. She leads you to a small pond filled with crystal clear blue water. You land at the edge, and begin to wash the dirt and grime off of your body. As you clean yourself, you look at your reflection in the water.
You realize that this is the first time you have really seen what you look like now, and you examine your body closely. You have a thin but athletic frame, with a nice flat stomach. You have pert B-cup breasts, and your skin is a pale white with a blue tinge. Your hair is a coal black, with short bangs and cropped close to your head. If you were still human, you would call yourself a tomboy. Well, a tomboy with long pointy ears and pale blue butterfly wings.
"See. I told you that you were beautiful now, " says the fairy, as she comes up behind you and looks at your reflection in the water with you. "By the way, what's your name?"
You start to tell her your name, but she stops you.
"No, no, no. That sounds like a human name. You look more like a Roxie to me, " says the fairy.
You try to insist that you should use your old name, when the fairy interrupts you again.
"I wouldn't try to use that name anymore. Someone around here might mistake you for a human. And humans don't last very long around here, " says the fairy, flashing her long pointed needle-like teeth.
"I guess I'm Roxie, " you mutter. "What's your name? You never told me."
"Well, we really don't use names around here. There isn't much need for them. But sometimes I am called Miranda, " says the fairy.
"Miranda, " you repeat softly, naming your captor.
"That's me. Pleased to meet you, " says Miranda, extending her hand to shake.
You are suddenly cold, and begin to shiver. For the first time since your transformation, you realize that you are nude, and you rub your arms to try to warm your body.
"Oh, dear. In all the excitement, I forgot to give you some clothes. You must be so cold. Here, take mine, " says Miranda, as she slips out of her outfit. It looks like a bikini made of flowers and vines. She holds it in her hand, offering it to you. But you turn away, too embarrassed to look at her nude body.
"Oh come now, don't be bashful. It's just us girls now. And I certainly have nothing to be ashamed of, nor do you, " says Miranda. You quickly reach up and grab her garments, catching just a quick glance at her body. She has the same pale skin with a blue tinge. But she has a much more womanly figure, with a hourglass shape, wider hips, a more narrow waist, thicker thighs, and larger breasts. Her clothes hang loosely on your smaller frame.
"Oh dear. It looks like we might need to do a little tailoring, " says Miranda with a chuckle. "Don't worry. We'll look for some new clothes for both of us in the morning. It'll be fun. Our first shopping trip together."
You shudder a little at the thought of a life spent hauling manure and shopping for petals and leaves to wear as clothes. You need to find a way to get out of here. But you need to be alone while you look.
"Thanks, Miranda. I am a little tired. I think I am going to call it a night, " you say.
Suddenly, you hear the sound of laughter, and possibly singing. You turn your head to look in that direction. Miranda follows your gaze and smiles.
"What is that noise? " you ask, strangely attracted to the sound.
"Oh, that's just the girls. They always like to have a little fun after a hard day of work. There's not much else to do around here. You are welcome to join us if you like. You are one of the girls now. Are you sure you still want to go to sleep?" asks Miranda.
You have to admit, it does sound like fun. The sounds are alluring, almost compelling you to join them. After all, you have never seen a fairy party. What could it hurt just to check it out for a while? But deep down inside, you also fear that if you join that party, you may never want to leave. You are afraid that you have already spent too much time as a fairy, and you need to get out of here as soon as possible.
Miranda stares at you, awaiting your decision.
