Freshman lunch at Moon Lake High was just another school meal for all, except for Eric Anderson and Julie Stovall.
All morning long, all Eric could think of was Julie's smile, and how long it would be until he saw her again. Thankfully, as intelligent as Eric was, it didn't affect his education to the point where any of his teachers noticed. His mind rarely stayed on his classes that morning, but Eric still managed to get everything done, even to the point of not having any homework, so far.
He didn't know this was actually because since Melissa Stovall's computer firm would be overhauling the school's systems Friday, all of the teachers had their three day weekend intact for once, instead of spending any of it at school Friday for the Teachers In Service day. While the Administrative Staff had to stay, the teachers all wanted to enjoy the late Indian Summer Moon Lake was experiencing while they still could.
Lunch found Eric waiting at their usual table for Julie, who ran a bit late because she needed to address a "personal" matter. What she didn't tell Eric was that for some reason during her last class, her breasts seriously started aching, and she needed a few private moments in a restroom stall to remove her bra and massage the sore tissue. However, doing that led to other thoughts, and when Julie realized what was going on, she had to force herself to stop or she would never have any lunch, let alone get to spend any time with Eric until after school.
The fact that her bra was now in her book bag instead of being worn was another matter.
As they sat together, Eric couldn't help staring at his girlfriend. Julie saw how his eyes kept changing color from brown to deep sea blue and back again, but it took her a while to realize that Eric was actually looking lower than her face.
"Eric. Control yourself," she whispered, nudging her shoulder against his.
"Tell me why you're dressed that way," he whispered in return, staring at her breasts, the nipples of which were pushing against her top.
"They started hurting me earlier and I needed some relief," was her whispered answer.
"I'll be more than glad to take care of them for you," he whispered back, a HUGE smile on his face.
"I'm sure you would," whispered Julie in return, actually pausing to think about whether or not she could work out the logistics necessary so they could...
Then she shook her head to clear it. This isn't me or him. Control yourself! If mom's plan works out, our time IS coming!
"Eric, control yourself. You're not acting like the man I love right now," she whispered in warning to him.
"I'm not?" asked Eric, as a confused look came over his face.
Julie watched as he just started staring off into space, almost as if he was trying to keep himself from crying.
"Eric, I..." began Julie, wondering what to actually say to him.
Then thankfully the bell rang, signaling that Freshman lunch was over.
Julie watched not only as Eric came back to "life", but his eyes change color back to their normal human shade of brown again.
"What were we talking about?" asked Eric, honestly not remembering the last few minutes.
"Nothing important," replied Julie, as she stood up from the table. "Walk me to my next class?" she asked with a smile.
"With pleasure," answered Eric, as they emptied their lunch trays and prepared to go on with their days, although Julie Stovall promised herself that she would definitely put her bra back on before meeting Eric after school.
MEANWHILE...
Word was beginning to spread throughout Moon Lake High School's werewolf population that there would be a wolf pack meeting that night to welcome a new member, but the news wouldn't reach Ben Twist, Nate Anderson or his boyfriend Alex Ramsey until Junior class lunch.
