Inside the box, lay vial after vial. But these were labelled. Tony picked up the ones that appeared to be identical to the ones they had seen in the basement. The red one was labelled, "Human". The blue read, "Human Male". The green said, "G.E", which Tony assumed meant Genital Enlargement given Katie's previous transformation. And the clear vial had the words, "Thinner" scrawled on it.
"At least now we know what we're taking." Tony said, lowering the box so Katie could look inside.
"Hey, there's a note!" Katie said, pointing to a bit of paper sticking up from under a row of vials. Tony carefully removed it, then read it aloud.
"To whom it may concern,
If you have this I am long gone. I hope these boxes find you well, and that you'll utilize them to their fullest. I was gifted them on my eighteenth birthday. They are magic, if that's not too hard to believe. If you've already taken some, then you'll know that they are indeed something special. They will never run out, but only if you put the vials back into the boxes after use. Transformations are only permanent if you stop using the vials, so enjoy. The magic will run out when you reach sixty, if you're lucky enough to reach that age. I prolonged my use by taking the age vial every ten years, which will halt any aging for ten years at a time. If you find you enjoy the vials as much as I, I would recommend you do the same.
A word of warning, never drink two vials at once. The changes are always permanent, and take it from someone who had to live the rest of his life with a cat tail and a 12 inch dick, it's not easy to manage the end results. If you do not use the reset vial, which resets all changes back to their previous state twelve hours ago, then reality will alter to accommodate your new changes. So no one will ever find it odd if you grow a pair of antlers or an extra limb. You must never reveal the vials to the public. The magic is limited to two people. Try to include a third, and you'll find that all changes will stop, and you'll be stuck in whatever form you last took.
