Soon after Timothy Badon's departure, someone else knocked on your door. Opening said door, you found a lot of women, two of which were dragging Florencia in her human form. behind who you supposed to be the council members, you could see the dumbstruck sisterhood of your tormentor.
Once inside, the council moved the furniture of your living room to make place for everyone. You all sat on the ground. The tiles were rather cold, but all of you were sirens, able to survive far colder temperatures.
The proceedings of Florencia's trial were a simple thing. First, the members of the council, all head-sisters of their own sisterhoods, called for Mary and asked her not only to say every infractions she ever saw Florencia make, but also explain what made it infraction. Océane for her part, was only here to ensure everything proceeded smoothly.
After Mary explained in what circumstances Selene got banned and how it made your transformation illegal, it was your wife turn to testify. After explaining her side of her banishment's story, she was asked to tell everyone what her life was like afterwards.
When Florencia was asked to give her side of the story, she refused to speak, after what it was time to pronounce the verdict. The sea-witch was found guilty, forever loosing the right to be head-sister and sentenced to return you to manhood. If she refused, or even failed, she would be starved to death.
The other members of her sisterhood were asked to choose one of them to be their new head-sister, but most of them choose to join yours instead. The only exception was Veronica, who claimed Selene should be grateful you got changed into one of them, that all mermaids should ‘drain men dry’, the ability to feed on love totally irrelevant.
To everyone surprise, it was Flonencia who silenced Veronica, by punching her in the stomach, after what your tormentor and former head-sister said “I will change him back. But if you want me to succeed, I will need to do it back in the cove he first was changed.” Which mean you wouldn't be changed back before tonight.
