Ashley was so excited. After all her hard work, she had enough money to change something in her body. For decades, scientists worked on advances of medicine and genetic modification to make the person’s body feel stronger, better, good looking, or smarter. Many advances have been formed to create Genetic Corporation. In this corporation, there are many ways to alter the person’s body. For example, there are small nanobots injected into the bloodstream that the user can use to control the person’s age, making them live forever. There are serums that once injected, can give the person muscles, improve their brain chemistry, or even enhance their beauty. There’s also a cloning lab where people have copies of themselves to make their frantic schedule much more easily. Then there’s the very popular, but a bit controversial, DNA splicing where the person would inject the DNA of an animal into their genes, altering their makeup to become hybrids. It was questionable procedure, that those oppose of this complained that it’s inhumane and it would cause an issue regarding human and animal rights. Still, they continue to use this procedure, as it’s legal in the Gene Alteration Rights.
Ashley wanted a change in life since she’s in her mid thirties and was showing in age. No matter what make up she uses, it’s still bodes the fact that she will continue to age and loose her beauty. Which is why she is going to Genetic Corporation to help her alter her looks. Some of these procedures are a little pricey, but it will be worth it to change something about herself.
Walking to the buildings, she could see it was a curve like structure with a hologram sign at the top with a rotating DNA strand. Below it is a sign that says, ‘Genetic Corporation: Altering lives one strand at a time.’ In the middle of it is a fountain with two statues, male and female, holding a small DNA strand. Upon approaching the building, Ashley noticed a small group of protesters, wanting Animal DNA splicing to be abolished. She sighed and could tell that things have been getting a little tensed between those that want to splice with animal DNA and those that don’t want to. But there’s nothing they can do, as they don’t have the clear case over it. So she walked away from the protest and entered the building.
Entering the facility, she was at awe of the interior. There were statues of men holding up pillars with art deco on the ceiling with a long strand of DNA. Obviously, DNA strands are a thing in this building. Walking down, she looked at the people and didn’t notice anything different. There were a few people that were a bit muscular and those that look like children, perhaps patients that had their procedures done. Then she spotted those that have animal like qualities, like one is a cat girl, one has a reptilian look, and another that has rabbit like qualities. It’s obvious that they were patience that had their splicing done. So giving what she was looking at, she was getting a little excited about her procedure. Approaching the directory, she looked through the various wings to go to. See, Ashley really wishes to go to…
