Before Stella could even pick a card, a red, fiery glow overtook her piece.
"Wait..." she frowned, then looked at Megan, "I... skipped your turn."
Megan frowned, "I guess you did... I hadn't noticed..."
The game had though, and it's instruction manual flipped open before Alex's eyes. He frowned, reading the page it was showing him.
"Any player who plays out of turn, be it deliberate or by accident, must take a card from every pile in addition to the one they rolled, usually counting 6 cards in total unless they landed on a blank space. After this, whoever was skipped in play takes their turn as normal and play continues." he frowned, looking up at Stella, "I feel like this is my fault. I distracted you."
"Having your memories changed isn't your fault." Stella sighed, then took another deep breath, "Well, better get this over with..." she began picking up the cards.
Time Card. 'Cheaters never prosper, and are generally immature, so why don't we reflect that. Reduce age to 5 years old.' Megan whimpered as she felt her age get drained away from her, leaving her as a little girl. According to the rules, this was just above the margin for being dropped out of the game, which was terrifying. It was only made worse by the fact that she could no longer read, and had to get the others to help her.
Body Card. "Since you're little now, you're probably below the bracket for potty training. And even if you're not, you cheated, even if you didn't mean to. So from now on, every time you roll 11 (because 12 is taken), you will wet yourself." Everyone audibly cringed at this, and Stella just stared at it in shock, unable to compute what she had just read. Instead, she gestured for them to move on to the next card.
Effect Card. "Okay, so you have the age and the lack of potty training, so you're probably going to need some help there. Here, take this diaper." Everyone frowned, and Stella looked down, still in a state of shock
