Then they hear the sound of the door slowly opening followed by the thud of foot steps, Jess and Kate carefully poke their heads out of the messy sea of Jess's wet diapers under the quilt, allowing them to see Jess's mom, "Hi girls, what are you up to?" she asks them.
"Ar..." Kate trails of having no idea what to say.
"Well playing, what do you expect?" asks Jess, "you didn't knock," she points out, in a put out voice.
"Why should I need to knock, I'm your mother, their shouldn't be anything you need to hide from me. Now where's Cassie?" she asks, walking purposefully over to the bed and reaching for the top of the quilt with her hands.
