"Come on, you don't want to waste any more time hanging around a boring human like me" Kayla smiled sweetly at James "We can be at the petting zoo in five minutes"
As James walked on four legs alongside Kayla as they left her tent and made their way towards his temporary home, the only thing that was strange was how normal it all felt. He recognised many of the same people he was now trotting past as those that had been his human equivalents just moments earlier before his chance meeting with Kayla. A friendly middle aged woman on one of the stalls who had chatted to him less than twenty minutes ago now ignored him, acknowledging only his human companion as they came past.
A couple of young children wanted to stroke James, but Kayla was keen to move him along, perhaps uncertain whether the spell would wear off sooner than anticipated. That would be pretty embarrassing.
Before long James was ushered into a pen with a number of other goats. They looked and felt different to him now somehow, each a unique individual rather than just a bunch of goats. He felt totally comfortable here, for now at least.
