James stared in shock at the large, shaggy goat reflected in the mirror. At first he did not believe it could be true, but when he waggled his ears, moved his head, and pawed the floor the goat it he mirror matched his movements. A bleat of terror came from his muzzle when he tried to scream.
Kayla knelt beside him and stroked his back, which somehow helped calm him a little. "It's OK. I know this is sort of a shock, but you'll enjoy it." She reached behind him and hefted what felt like an enormous pair of testicles with a giggle. He was startled by the sensation, but though he knew there was something wrong about it, he could not quite think of what it was. Why would he care if she touched him there?
Kayla smiled. "You are still who you were with all of your memories and knowledge. It's just you as a goat. Go ahead and try to find something about being a goat that doesn't feel perfectly normal to you. Bet you can't."
It was true. James through furiously, remembered being human, being able to talk and use his hands. But bleating and cloven hooves were just... right. He did not miss being human at all. It wasn't that he liked being a goat better. He WAS a goat, a basic fact like the sun rose in the sky and the oceans were full of water.
Kayla stood up. "We have some nice nanny goats over in the petting zoo. I am sure they will be happy to see you. But I won't leave you like this. I just want to make sure the spell sticks. Sometimes the magic fades a little, or goes away completely."
James bleated, confused by his own thoughts. The idea of being with females was exciting, but it sounded like he might change back to a human. Did he want that?
