You stretched back, and fell off your chair. Without a sound, you fell onto the floor.
"What the hell?" you mutter, but your voice sounds different.
"What?" your voice sounds strange, it has a strange echo to it, as if you were talking in an empty room. You raise your hand to your throat and hear faint clinking. Looking at you wrists you see iron cuffs on your wrists, a small chain clipped on to each one. You look at your hands and realize that they're transparent. Your forearms are the same, but seem to gain more color as it gets closer to your shoulders.
You try to stand up, but instead your whole body drifts up slowly. As you hover above the floor you catch your reflection on the mirror hanging on your door. Your jaw drops. Your whole body is translucent, your extremities fade out into almost total transparency. Your skin is a pale gray color and your face looks different. You lean forward and approach the mirror faster than you anticipated. Now face-to-face with your reflection, you notice the faint light you seem to give off. Studying your face you notice that your face seems more skeletal and that the sclera of your eyes is now a dark shade of gray and your irises a shocking white.
You hear your roommate Kyle stir behind you...
