"So what do we do now?" Kyle asked. His eyes were glued to the mirror.
"Fuck... I don't know..." You replied, the shock of the situation was still not wearing off. All you could do right now was stare at the reflection of a two-headed man in disbelief. "Find away to get apart..." You said, trying to offer something.
In the mirror, you saw Kyle's expression shift from fear to annoyance. "Great idea Mason, I never would have thought of that." The sarcasm was clear in Kyle's tone.
Equally miffed from his statement, you rolled your eyes in response. "At least I'm coming up with ideas."
"You call that an idea." Kyle shook his head, and looked away for a moment. He was obviously not coming up with anything better. Turning back, "What did you have in mind?"
You opened your mouth to say something, but quickly closed it. You glanced down at the pajamas you were sharing with Kyle. Your pure red onesie was still seamlessly connected to the stripped black and orange pajamas of your roommate. A hopeful idea popped into your head. You reached back with your only hand, trying to feel for the zipper. Your onesie originally had one before... whatever happened.
Kyle, confused and surprised, tried to pull away. "What! What are you doing?" He and you almost toppled over from the sudden movement.
"My zipper." you said, stopping to explain. "My pajamas had a zipper in the back."
"So?" Kyle stared at you.
"Just help me find it and pull it down." It was an impossible solution; Kyle knew that. How would taking off conjoined pajamas separate them. But, there situation was impossible. How did they end up attached in the first place. "Maybe... Maybe we'll-"
"Separate?" Kyle did not look convinced. "How the hell would that... whatever. Let's just try it."
They both reached back, blindly feeling for the elusive zipper between their necks. You found it. Hastily, you pulled down, but the zipper did not budge. "Can you hold the side?" Kyle did as you asked. This time you were able to pull the zipper down partway. You adjusted your grip and finished pulling it down to the small of your back.
Kyle flapped his arm, trying to get his arm out of the sleeve. Realizing he was not making much success, he asked, "Can you help?"
You nodded and awkwardly grabbed the wrist of his sleeve. It felt weird, acting as Kyle's right hand. With his arm out, the pajamas you shared half fell down, revealing your seamlessly united chest. It almost looked normal except for that fact that you were both sharing it. "It-its not working." Kyle sounded deflated.
You flapped your arm in front of the both of you. "I'm still in it." you said, trying to hide the defeat in your own tone. Kyle reluctantly helped you remove your arm. The mixed up pajamas you both wore fell to the ground around your legs, completely revealing your shared body. You both shared a glum look when nothing happened. You were still attached to each other in a single body. Kyle and you were really two guys in one.
