Brian ran after Mike, afraid to leave his friend alone with these horses. The boy followed easily, jogging alongside. "It's really not a big deal. Lots of centaurs end up as horses. And as Wizard's horse, he'll have the best care and magically enhanced health. Probably live a lot longer than he would have as a centaur, especially on an adventure. Big target for arrows and swords."
Brian frowned and slowed as they got close to Mike. The huge centaur was standing near the trees, eyeing a large brown horse that was shuffling closer to him. The other horses had all started galloping around when Mike took off, but most had settled near where they were before. Dar chuckled. "See? He's already getting interested in the mare." He draped an arm around Brian's shoulders. "You know, if you are here for adventure, there are ways to do stuff that's way safer than swinging swords and getting chased by Orcs and Minotaurs."
Mike felt the stirrings in his loins, his partially-erect shaft starting to harden again as he caught the mare's scent. She was young, healthy, and receptive. The intense pleasure and satisfaction from the first mare was fresh in his mind, and it was really hard to equate them with danger. Looking around, he spotted Brian and the ugly kid - Dar - close by, watching him. Dar had an arm around Brian's shoulder as if they were best buds or family. Standing next to Dar, Brian really did look like a younger boy, especially with his pointed ears covered by hair.
"Mike, remember this is for real!" Brian called out to his friend as the centaur gave him a long look, then turned to check out the mare.
"So, you weren't an elf. Bet you were human." Dar grinned. "How would you like to be a young and healthy human for way longer than you would live normally? Working for a Wizard has some real perks" He reached down to cup the bulge under his loincloth. "Improvements are easy."
