Before Sandra's eyes... her foot morphed into cloven hooves with a golden sheen to them. Fur that was beautifully white, but when looked closely was more like every color so close together that it shined like white. It climbed up her leg, following the path of her blood stream but going faster than that.
Her mass increased, her clothes ripped and tore. She saw her other foot morph into a hoof as well. Her brain basically shut down at the impossibility of what was happening to her. Reduced to only watching.
As her muscle mass increased, she lost her balance, and fell forward onto her kitchen floor. To her horror, she watched her hands became the same as her feet, golden like cloven hooves. She gasped she felt her spine actually pushing out of her rear, and turned her head to see what looked sort of like a white lion's tail ending in a tuff of fur at the end. She was dimly aware that she was changing, and whatever she was becoming it was no goat, and it was no horse.
Her muscles kept growing, and she lost the ability to stand up straight, her neck lengthened, her hair turned an extremely pale blue and went down the length of her neck. Her face pushed forward into a muzzle... her golden spiral horn grew from her forehead. She didn't see it, but she saw her eyes take on a new shine, not reflecting what she saw, but reflecting what was within her mind instead.
Sandra shook her head in confusion. What was going on? She happened to look at herself in a reflective surface... and was utterly captivated by her own beautiful. She tore and kicked off what remained of her clothes of her own choice, why should she hide perfection?
She was a unicorn. The truth was simple and direct. Her thought of how she was a plain old human a minute ago felt like a bad dream. She was beautiful, and timeless. Even the name Sandra felt worn and trivial, she'd come up with a better name for herself later.
She thought of her cattle, HER animals, they were her charges, her creatures, yes... this place was her domain, it was under her protection. How dare some griffins come and treat animals under her protection like their personal buffet?
With a thought, the unicorn teleported outside.
