After Agent Green had left her office, Samantha Twist slumped back in her chair and sighed.
"Great," she sighed, "Just great. Of ALL the places on this damn planet for the man who murdered Jen's husband to be, he just has to be in the town a few miles away, and he just has to come to this town to escape the heat."
Putting her hand on her face, she sighed again as she picked up her phone with the other hand. Taking her hand off of her face, she dialed Jen's number and drummed her fingers on her desk.
"Come on, pick up Jen," Samantha said to herself, listening to the phone ringing.
After a few more seconds of waiting, Samantha heard Jen's voice ask, "Hello?"
"Jen, it's Samantha," Samantha said, "I need to talk to you about something."
"It must be important if you're calling me while you're working."
"Very. Agent Theodore Green just stopped by my office. He wanted me to tell you some of the info that he gathered about the man who killed Jeff."
Samantha could hear Jen inhale sharply before saying to someone, "I'll be right back. This is an important phone call." Once Jen was far away from whomever she was talking to, she said, "What have they learned?"
"His name is Lionel Ulysses," Samantha said, reporting what Agent Green had said, "Apparently, he supposedly comes through Moon Lake to lay low after he commits a crime. Moon Lake's police chief has been informed and has all officers on alert. I believe he might make an announcement to the community, telling everyone to be on guard and to be careful, but if you see this man, call the police immediately."
"Thank you Sam," Jen said, trying her best to sound strong, "I'll be careful."
