Claire sat down at a nearby table, disappointed that she couldn't be a weretigress now. She was impressed with the weretigers in the area, and she definitely wanted to join. However, she wasn't ready to be a mother yet. Maybe once she and Ryan got married, and maybe when she was out of college, but not now. So, if she really wanted to be a weretigress, she had to either wait, get another weretigress to change her, or take her chances and risk getting pregnant. None of those options really appealed to her at the moment, so all she could do was drink her punch in disappointment. She pulled out her phone ready to call Ryan to break him the news that she was still normal. It was then that she noticed Francis Twist's number. After checking the time and seeing that it was only about 8 o'clock, she dialed the Twist's number. After a few rings, she could hear Francis's voice over the line saying, "Hello?"
"Hi Francis, this is Claire," Claire responded.
"Claire, hi, I've been wondering about you. I've been meaning to get in contact with you, but we've been so busy lately with everything that's been going on. How do you like the town so far?"
"Well, I like it very much. I want to move here and I'm transferring to the MLC. Also, um, I've decided to join the weretigers."
"Really? Wow, that was fast. Most normals usually wait the full week before deciding to join, but then again, as I understand it, things have been going remarkably well for you. So, what can I do for you?"
"Um..." Claire started, but with all that's going on, she was rather embarrassed. "Well, I'm at the weretiger pride meeting, and I want to join, but I don't want to get pregnant."
"Ah, I understand," Francis responded. "Well, there are a few options. First, you could see if a weretigress is willing to change you. There are a number of homosexual and bisexual weretigresses out there, although most of them are heterosexual."
"Ah, yeah, Bob mentioned that. That won't work for me. I tried that in my last college, and I really felt uncomfortable about it."
"Okay, understandable. Well, if you want to avoid pregnancy now, you'll need to take a weretiger birth control pill. Fortunately, they're generic enough that you could ask another weretigress for a pill. Although, there may be side effects, and it is a bit risky. A third option, though, is go to the Moon Lake Hospital and ask for a prescription. These things do happen quite often, and I'm sure that they can accommodate you. If you want to be a weretiger tonight, this'll be your best option in my opinion."
"Okay, thank you Francis." Claire smiled as she thought of the options.
"No problem. I hope you have a good evening," Francis said as she hung up the phone.
Claire put her phone away and smiled brightly. Maybe tonight will be the night? She made her way to Bob and asked, "Do you know the way to the Moon Lake Hospital?"
Ben looked serious for a moment and answered, "Yeah, it's not far from here. Take the path back to the main road, hang a left, and it's about a half mile up the road. Is anything wrong?"
Claire smiled at him and said, "No, but things will be all right. You'll be here all night, right?" Bob nodded and then Claire smiled. "Great, so, uh, why don't you stay warm for me, and I'll be back soon." With that, she gave Bob a kiss on the cheek, and then quickly made her way up the path and towards the hospital.
