The other side of the coin…
Arthur was swimming. He couldn’t say where exactly. Someplace warm, tropical maybe. The Caribbean?
“Hey, hurry up Dad!” a blonde haired boy with a silver tail shouted.
“Uh, what?” Arthur looked around for the person the boy was calling to. In the crystal clear water, there was no one else around but him and this young weremer.
“Come on, Mom and Ella are going to beat us!” The boy swam up to Arthur and tugged on his arm. Arthur allowed himself to be pulled forward, despite his growing confusion. What the heck was going on? Who was this kid? And more importantly, why did he think that Arthur was his father?
“Ha! We win, we win!” A mermaid probably the same age as the little boy was gleefully swimming in circles. Her hair was a darker blonde than his, and her tail was spotted with orange, black and white.
“No fair! I only lost because Dad is such a slowpoke!” The boy protested. Arthur was about to say something when a female voice spoke up from behind him.
“That’s a very nice thing to say about your father A.J. He did his best. Say you’re sorry.” A woman said. Arthur turned around and came face to face with Julie Stovall. But not the Julie he knew.
She was without bandages, and clearly older. Like mid twenties. Her hair had returned to its full and , and gorgeous state. Best of all, she was only wearing a thin bikini top over her ample bosom. And most notably, Julie’s eyes were no longer sea blue. They were a misty green.
“Sorry Dad.” the young merman hung his head under his mother’s careful eye.
“Why don’t you and your sister so play around the reef. Just don’t go too far, and don’t touch anything. There might be poisonous creatures hiding around here.” Julie cautioned the two.
“Race ya!”
“Hey, no fair!”
The two children sped off, leaving Arthur alone with this older version of Julie. He was still too stunned to say anything. He thought she was beautiful when she was lying in a hospital bed, wrapped in bandages with a shaved head. Here… his brain just wouldn’t function.
“Something on your mind honey?” she asked.
“Uh…”
“Hey, my eyes are up here silly.” Julie pulled Arthur’s head up so that she could stare into his eyes. Arthur suddenly saw his reflection in her eyes. He was older. His sandy blonde hair was a bit longer, and it was clear he was more than capable of growing a beard. There were obvious signs of a five o’clock shadow. He seemed to have filled out more too.
“So… Mom and Dad are watching the kids tonight. Would you care to join me in some adult fun?” Julie’s hand went down to were his penis was hidden. Arthur again found that words alluded him.
“I’ll take THAT as a yes.” Julie indicated Arthur’s erection. She pulled him in for a kiss when something else hit his face. Hard. Which was odd because at the same time, its as also soft.

“Wake up you idiot! You’re gonna be late for school if you don’t get your ass out of bed!” Derek shouted at his brother.
Arthur had seriously overslept. Past his alarm clock. Past three warning shouts from his parents. And now through his older brother pummeling him with a pillow. Derek finally grabbed a water bottle from Arthur’s backpack, and dumped it on his face.
“Hey? What the fuck are you doing?!” Arthur yelled, startled by the sudden cold water all over his torso and face.
“Getting you and your sorry butt up and out of bed. Dude, it’s almost seven thirty. You’re gonna be late. And I’m NOT driving you.” Derek said. Arthur frantically grabbed for his phone and found that his brother was telling the truth.
Without further thought, Arthur dashed across the hall into the bathroom to get ready. He failed to notice the large puddle in his bed. Derek lifted the sheets to inspect the mess.
“Geez, must have been some dream.” he thought. Derek heard his brother’s moans and sighs from down the hall. It had almost made HIM hard. Whatever was going on in his kid brother’s head, Derek was a little jealous.
