When the light clears, there is a German shepherd standing in Keith's place, looking the same as before, but this time wearing a nice leather collar and tags.
The German shepherd sits and looks himself over, then gives a whine and an expression up at you that you figure translates to: Really? Again?
You give a helpless shrug. "At least you're not wearing the uncomfortable leather jockstrap anymore."
Keith gives a low growl, his hind leg coming up and scratching at the collar, causing the tags to jangle about. You figure the collar must be the cop, just like the cop seemed to have been the leather jock strap. You hoped that the cop wasn't still conscious, otherwise you and Keith would be in a whole mess of trouble. You suppose you could ask Keith.
"Ur...Keith, this might be an odd question, but do you remember anything when you were...ur...crap?"
The dog seems to pause and think on this a moment, then whines and gives a small nod.
"Fuck. That means, the cop might be...aware."
Keith's response is to paw at the collar with his foreleg this time. You can't imagine what's going through the cop's mind at this point. You kneel down in front of your friend. "Would you mind if I look at your collar?"
Keith gives something like a doggy sigh, and lets you have a look. The tags include Keith's name, still Keith, address and phone number. You feel the thick leather of the collar, rubbing around Keith's neck, and to notice as you do this, the German shepherd tail starts wagging a bit. You give an experimental rub of his head, behind his ears, causing more wagging, Keith leaning into the pets. You find yourself amused by his reaction, continuing to pet until the dog is flopped on his side and you're rubbing his chest and belly fur. You've always kinda wanted a dog...
You stop yourself at this thought and stop petting, and when you stop petting, Keith gets up onto all fours and shakes himself, a confused expression on his face.
"Sorry about that dude, got carried away there. Seems like you didn't mind though." You nod at Keith's still wagging tail. Keith gives a small growl, but you can tell he really doesn't mean it.
You need to figure out what to do next. Your friend is a dog and you turned a cop into a dog collar. You most likely should turn the cop back right away, but wouldn't you get in trouble? Maybe you should try and turn Keith back first, then figure out the cop situation. However, he didn't seem to mind being a dog at the moment. Maybe none of those options would work. Hell, these keys seemed to work quirky at best.
