Kelly thought quickly. Going to the park or beach or mall or even the movies was out of the question. There was too much chance that Katie would make more wishes on the way to any place since she didnt remember how to drive.
"Can we just walk around the neighborhood mommy?" Kelly asked.
"Why sure sweetie, let me just get myself a hat, you get one too, okay?" Katie said.
Kelly nodded and got a hat, as she went to the door and started putting on a pair of katie's sneakers, Kelly heard her mother, gasp.
"Kelly! When did you learn to tie your shoes sweetie?"
Kelly blinked. She'd always known this but katie at her age had trouble with it. "Uhm, the other day at school." She said.
Katie smiled and patted her on the head. "Oh my dear Katie! You are growing up so fast. "
Kelly smiled, glad that her new "Mother" didn't make a wish. "Well come on mommy!" She purposely took Katie's hand with the ring finger, hoping she could slide it off without Katie noticing.
