You finally wake up, laying in an open tube which had just been drained of all the water. A tube had just been removed from your bellybutton. All wired had been disconnected from your body. As you groggily open your eyes and look down, you realize that you’re completely naked as a whole bunch of people are staring at you.
“Uhh… Where am I?” you mumble quietly. You can’t remember where you are. You can’t even remember what you had been doing over the past 24 hours. You slowly recognize the faces of Brock, your older brother, and a lady wearing a long, white lab coat.
“Jason… I’m Doctor Ameline Debellegambettes. I have been working with your family towards making some changes to your mind and your body. I’m happy to report that the changes have been completed successfully!” the lady said.
“Changes? What changes?” you groan as you look down and notice how you look more muscular. Your arms sport big, thick biceps now. You look down and you see large pectorals in front of you. Further down, you see well-defined washboard abdominals and thick, muscular legs. “What did you do to me?”
“Your DNA has been altered into that of the first truly superhuman teenager. In other words, Jason, you’re a teenage super hero!” Dr. Ameline smiles as you slowly get up from the bed.
“What? Me? Why me? A superhero? I don’t want to be a superhero!” you mumble as you swing your legs around and get up. “Nobody asked me if I wanted to do this! What the heck?”
“But, Jason! Your body was perfect! And, it had to be done quickly! Don’t you understand, bro?” Brock added.
You walk over to the mirror and gasp at the site. You vaguely remember your old self, but the memory is fading fast since your mind has been rewritten. You see your reflection in the mirror and you’re shocked and pleased at the same time. You look like your 15-year-old self, but way more muscular and athletic-looking!
“Do you guys have anything for me to wear?” you ask.
“The bathroom is over there, just go through that door!” Dr. Ameline says, pointing at the white door. “We left a special, red outfit for you on the chair in the bathroom…”
You turn and run towards the door, opening it and closing it. You put on the underwear, the red shirt, the red tights, white socks and red running shoes before you open the door and come back out. You did all that in two seconds.
“Holy SHIT! Jason changed into his clothes in a blink of an eye!” Brock gasped.
“There! I feel much better now!” you smile. “Let’s go home! I’m starving!”
You and Brock said goodbye to the doctor before you walked out and got in the car. You were just looking forward to getting home right now…
