The sound of voices and items being moved around catch your attention, it was nine in the morning and it was a racket outside, you lived with your three sisters, Lucy, Zoe and Grace and your mother Whitney, the house next door had been up for sale for almost a year, it had various people come and look at it but nobody followed up with an offer.
You lived a good few hours from the city and this seemed to put off potential buyers, the flood of potential buyers dried up after five months and the remaining five-six months had been quiet with no tours or anything so this took you by surprise, you were home alone that morning so you decided not to bother with checking them out. But you did decide to peek out the window a little, outside you couldn't see anyone outside of the men lugging the boxes and other pieces of furniture around to the house, you just knew your mum would drag all the family over to see them and be all neighborly, you didn't want to make such a fuss.
A week went by and you heard nothing from the new neighbors, no car parked in the drive, no lights on at night, Lucy had knocked a couple of times but didn't get a response either of the times she tried, but one warm Saturday evening you were all sat around the table getting ready to eat when there was a knock on the door.
"Could you answer that honey?" your mother asked with a smile, you felt like you had no choice so you stood up and walked to the door, you slowly opened it and your eyes widened at what was in front of you, there was two men, only they weren't exactly human they were mostly animal in appearance but had some humane like features mostly in the hands and feet, they were wearing sandals but what animals were they?
