"Hold on I know what you are planning. You brought me here to turn me into you!" Brian saying trying to get away from Dar.
"Not quite. But you are perceptive, so this will be easier." said Dar with a smile sitting by the pond. "See this is where I met the Landros for the first time. "

Me and my band were a group of adventurers who travelled in search of treasure. Not a noble cause, but we did some good on the way. The Cursed Swords we were called as each of us was afflicted by certain curse. Mine you can see for yourself. I was cursed with eternal youth, people would call it blessing, but if they were trapped as a boy for years on end. You get the picture. Although back then I didn't looked like this. Dashing the young ladies would describe me. The blacksmith of our group fashion a set of armor and sword on my size. Due to my armor's reddish color I began to be known as the Radish Knight, and even with my size I was respected as a knight once again. Years passed and my story spread, children played as me in the streets.
But one day I was passing through this waters, I had to met my partners several towns over. The summer sun was boiling and the lake seemed so refreshing. I didn't think it twice and ditched my armor to dipped in the waters. I must have been sorely distracted, when I came out my armor, sword, purse and equipment was gone. I was left with nothing. I yelled for help but no one came. So regretfully I walked naked to the next town to ask for help. I knew it was going to be embarrassing, the fabled Radish Knight appears naked, the songs that would be sang about it! But I didn't foresee a more dreadful fate I had in store. There were no humiliating songs because no one believed me. The townsfolk think of me as nothing but a street urchin soft in the head believing to be the mighty knight. From respected knight to naked boy. One of the peasants took enough pity on me to at least give me this rag.
I returned here defeated, I was at a lose. That's when I met Landros, he said to me that he could help me. Maybe even break the curse, but I had to pay. I tried to tell him that if I were a knight I could pay him his weight in gold, but he insisted the payment had to be done first. As such I became his servant, until I can pay for his services.

"How long would it take you?" Brian asked.
"I thought you'd be brighter. I'm not going anywhere, the one who stole my armor was Landros. But by when I realised that I was already under his service and there is nothing I can do. But I know how he works. He wants to do the same for you and your friend. I don't have powers but those he bestow upon me to do his bidding. And he is doing the same to you." explained Dar.
"Then help me. Let's get Mike out of the pasture and with my friends we can deal with Landros." Brian said.
"You are still new to being an adventurer right? That's not how you deal with wizards. I can take Mike out of the pasture but only when Landros wants it. Do you have a magic user in your group?" asked Dar.
"Uhm..."
"Yeah, even if we brought them here, there'll be little they can do before falling in one of Landros' traps. You want an advice. Forget about your friend, and leave now that you are only a human boy."
"I'm an elf."
"Look again."
Brian didn't want to look into the pond, so he touched himself, his ears were round, and the color of his hair was reddish instead of the blonde of elf.
