You wake up the next morning to various muffled voices, you could easily tell it was Grace and Lucy both heading off for college, you heard the front door close and then silence, it felt nice to have some peace and quiet in the morning even if it was only to last a few minutes.
Before you could relish in the tranquil silence you could hear Zoe moving about singing along to the morning radio that she often had on in the mornings and since this wasn't going to go away any time soon you decided to just get up and grab breakfast.
As you got downstairs into the kitchen you began to smell burnt toast and coffee, you could tell Grace had been making breakfast in a hurry again, upon entering the kitchen your mum smiles at you and sets down a glass of orange juice "sleep well?" she asked.
You nodded "yeah it wasn't too bad of a nights sleep" you respond as you sit down and grasp the glass of juice "by the way have you spoken to Zoe about the you know what?" you ask her while you still remembered about it.
"No I was going to do that this morning before I get off to work, she wont say no to a couple pairs of new shoes or even that expensive shirt she has been pestering me about" she said setting down some non burnt toast with butter on for you, "she's bound to drive a hard bargin, she's not stupid" she adds on.
Before either of you could say another word Zoe entered the kitchen, you both looked at her before your mum speaks up, you braced yourself for one of Zoe's little outbursts "Zoe dear, I was wondering if you'd be interested in attending a hypnosis session with me later today, Jay said one of the neighbors was a hypnotist willing to help us".
Zoe stared at mum for what felt like an eternity before saying something "hypnosis? please tell me this is a joke right? you expect me to let some smelly fat pig put me under his control?" her comments startled Whitney but you knew the truth to Trevor.
"Zoe that's a rude thing to say about someone" she began to say berating her daughter for insulting Trevor in such a manner.
"No really he's a short fat pig, I saw him last night, I came home and he was on the front lawn wearing some ill-fitting shorts while drinking beer" Zoe said now sounding crazy to Whitney, but you believed what Zoe said "Jay must have seen him so he knows I'm telling to damn truth on this".
You try not to speak up about it but you could feel the gaze of your mum upon you so you had no choice "it's true, Butch and Trevor are both pigs, but they're really friendly I felt no ill intentions from them, Trevor only wants to help, he didn't have too but he chose too".
Zoe simply shook her head "I don't care, I am not letting some filthy pig probe my mind and make me do shit I don't want to do" she said before hurrying off out the front door.
Whitney sighed and turned to you "I'll go speak with Trevor later, explain that Zoe has trust issues, but maybe I'll let him hypnotize me for the fun of it" she said with a smile before leaving the house to get herself to work, giving you pretty much the whole day to yourself.
