*Actually I don't know. But I figured I'd just take an educated guess since Moon Lake Fan hasn't returned to write the next chapter

“Who is it?” Claire asked, wondering who would want to see her this early in the morning.
“Mr. Jackson.” Ryan said.
“Okay, I’ll be out in a second.” Claire said. Ryan knew Mr. Jackson could hear from the living room of his apartment.
Claire dried off and dressed as fast as she could. Her clothing didn’t exactly fit with her new body, but it was better than walking out in her birthday suit. First chance she got, Claire was going to have to go get some new clothes.
“Mr. Jackson, good morning.” Claire said when she entered the living room. She accepted a cup of coffee from Ryan, who then went into the bedroom to give the weretigers some privacy. Ryan could still hear everything that was said, but it was the thought that counted.
“So, what did you want to see me about?” Claire asked, sitting across from her new pride leader on the couch.
“Just a routine check in. Bob and I have already spoken. I must say I’m very eager to see your fursona in the future. I’ve never seen a black and white coat before.” Mr. Jackson said.
“Really?”
“Once in a while you hear of one, but I’ve never seen one in the Moon Lake area. I suppose you’re just lucky. Anyway, as a new member of the pride we’ll be giving you a welcoming party tomorrow tonight. You’re welcome to bring any friends, regardless of species.” Jackson said, obviously referring to Ryan.
“Thank you. But actually could we maybe postpone the celebration? I’m heading back to Oregon to collect my stuff.”
“No problem. So you’ll be moving to Moon Lake permanently?”
“I don’t know about permanently, but I’m planning on going to school here.”
“Where are you originally from?” Jackson asked, wanting to get to know the newest member of his pride better. Aside from their brief introduction at Claire’s induction, Jackson didn’t know much of anything about Claire.
“Alaska.”
“Wow. Can I ask why you came all the way down here for school?”
“I felt like a change in scenery. And I’ve always liked a bit of adventure in my life. Needless to say I did get it.” Claire said.
“Well I’m sure you’ll find that your life here will be adventure enough. And as soon as you’re settled, let me or another member of the pride know. I’ll let you get on with your morning.” Mr. Jackson said. He stood up and offered his hand for Claire to shake.
“Thank you.”

After Jackson left, Ryan and Claire got ready for their day. Claire resisted the urge to jump on Ryan’s lap and spend the entire day of riding his rocket. She’d never felt so alive before in her life.
“So… you’re going back to Oregon today?” Ryan asked, picking at his eggs. He would miss her, and in all honesty he wanted to go too. But he couldn’t leave work.
“Barbara is going with me. It’ll probably only take two days.” Claire said.
“Girls’ road trip? Wish I could go with, sounds fun.”
“Moon Lake needs their finest police officer on duty. Besides, all I’m doing clearing out my dorm and filling some papers. It’s not like I’m just going to a war zone. I’ll be okay.”
“Well at least Barbara is going with her. Claire’s a new were, things can be a bit overwhelming. And in a place mostly filled with other normal people… Oh I’m just worrying for nothing.” Ryan thought, taking his dishes to the sink.
Barbara would keep Claire out of trouble. Besides, like Claire said, they’d only be gone for two days.
