"Well first Alyssa, I think I need to improve my status in life a little bit beyond just having a sexy plaything. So lets make some changes around here. Thanks to a former girlfriend's interest in jewelry I was able to identify the new metal as being platinum. There also appeared to be a pattern engraved into it, nothing overly fancy but the difference was there. Alyssa came up to examine the ring with me going so far as to poke at it, "Nice ring Joe, and a good wish too! Just keep in mind that having unlimited power is fine if you use it to make more toys like me, just don't try to rule the world or anything that might take all your time away from me." I give her a quizzical look having not expected a comment like that, but she was right. I had to be careful not to bite off more than I could chew with this ring.
But that was something to thing about later, for now I had a life to improve. "I wish my apartment was newly renovated up to your average penthouse standards, with all new furniture and appliances to match." And with that my orderly but cheap student apartment turned into something off of an interior decorating magazines front page.
