Dustin floats over the fence and into town. Fortunately for him, a parade is taking place. He tries his best to look like a stiff, normal figure as he floats over the loud and cheerful populace. The crowd of people look up at the floatsie overhead, pointing and cheering.
"Momma, I never knew THAT was supposed to be a part of the parade," exclaimed one child.
"That's what bothers me; it isn't," replied that child's mother, as her hand curles around his chin in a quizical manner.
Dustin spends the next hour or two moving through the crowd, which has been dying down. When the crowd's attention seems least focused on him, he takes the opportunity to escape. He moves through a less-populated area of town, using the rooftops of apartment and housing to move himself. He finally reaches home, and can barely see Ty in his room.
Dustin nonchalantly floats over to Ty. The darkening sky helps conceal his shadow. The light hands and the blow of the wind makes his movement go virtually unnoticed, except for a infant in one of the nearby housings that point and laugh at the floating monstrosity.
Dustin finally reaches the window of Ty's room. He sees Ty on his bed, obviously tired and in his night clothing. That idiot! He obviously didn't have the intention of coming after Dustin for a while.
Ty and his mysterious powers. And how Dustin is defenseless to them.
Hmph. Dustin decides to move through Ty's window. Ty looks up from a magazine he's looking and gasps at Dustin.
"Dustin? What the hell are you doing here?!"
"I'm here to show you exactly what I think of your last wish," Dustin replies in a strained voice as he makes his way through the window.
"As if floating into town isn't enough. I wish you were out in space instead. Then you couldn't get back and bother me so quickly."
As Ty speaks, Dustin forces his way more and more through the window. It does seem that he has some weight after all -- the window is cracking under his force!
He finally makes his way through. The force he applied sends him -- with great momentum -- at Ty. He slams Ty into the bed. Dustin now fills the room, and is on top of Ty, helpless below him.
"Oh no, you don't," Dustin exclaims. He takes his air-pumped hands and tries to strangle Ty. "I am not letting your wishful thinking take the upper hand of me this time! I am going to be returned to normal, and you're never going to do anything like that again!" Dustin bounces up and down on Ty, who is struggling to breathe.
Ty turns his face up to Dustin, with strained eyes and heavy breathing.
"Or else," Dustin threatened, as he bounced on Ty, making it harder and harder to breathe.
"OK, just get off me," Ty gapsed. Dustin pushed himself away from a nearby bookshelf.
Ty closed his eyes in concentration and imagined Dustin in his normal form. Dustin began to lose air as his outrageously-inflated hands, arms, legs, face, and other body parts returned to their normal selves. After the deflation was complete, Dustin fell to the floor with a loud thud.
Dustin stared down for a moment with a blank face, and then got up and ran at Ty, strangling him much in the same manner as before.
"Don't you EVER do that to me again! Do you hear me?" demanded Dustin.
"You're the one who started it! You blew me up," replied Ty, trying to pull Dustin's arms off him.
"Well, you're the one with powers that can make things go back to normal -- I'm not," shouted Dustin in retort.
Ty raised an eyebrow and said, in a sarcastic-nervous tone. "Yeah, and I can do anything (so it would seem), so you'd better keep that in mind when you talk to me."
Dustin smiled and raised an eyebrow, taking on a tone with equal sarcasm. "And I'm the one who will always find a way to counteract your power."
