Kellie blinked as a cold feeling ran through her body. Reality bent and buckled. A new world was born.
In this new world girls emotionally and mentally aged much faster than boys. For every twelve months that passed they emotionally and mentally aged roughly sixteen. This had an instant and widespread effect.
Kellie, who was 43, found her own maturity increase. Some of her confidence with it. She now felt like a wise, older woman, she had high work experience, the mature woman was now mentally and emotionally 58. Still an adult. Her clothes changed, slightly, to something more like what senior citizens wear.
Katie's change was less severe. She was a girl of 7. That meant 84 months of growth. Meaning that mentally and emotionally she had aged 112 months. She was now as mature as any other girl of 9 years and 4 months.

This was because, although they mentally reached the maturity of a 6 year old by age 4, they couldn't keep up at a 1:1 ratio. Thus things were adjusted.
It was due to this though that girls attended private schools as a 1st grade boys could, and would, physically overwhelm a 1st grade girl.
Kellie blinked, her mind filling with the new information. Her own change in maturity caused her to forget the changes as well. What she did know was that it was late, and Katie needed to be put to bed...
