Benton in a standard hospital gown is lying in an MRI machine; after letting doctor Tora he is ready to begin being tested for bi-polar disorder, he is introduced to a doctor Abigail Robinson. An expert in psychology second to Frances Twist; but Abigail focusing more on diagnosing and treating mental disorders. Benton clearly notices the scent of were-leopard coming from the doctor, nods.
“Now mister Knight,” Abigail speaking through a speaker; “I need to ask you a few simple questions to establish a base line. I need to you answer truthfully.
“Understood doctor,” Benton answers; “ask away.”
“First off,” the doctor asking; “what is your full name?”
“Benton Franklin Knight,” He answers.
“Where were you born?”
“Here in Moon Lake,” Benton answers.
“Do you smoke, drink or consume any other controlled substances?”
“I drink scotch whiskey,” Benton answers; “But that’s just about it. Wait I also drink champagne, but only during social events.”
Abigail looking at the screen of Benton’s brain scan and nods with what she sees. “All right Benton,” speaking through the intercom; “As you can see in the MRI machine is a monitor. On this monitor you will see several images. What I need you to do is look at them but not say anything. Just watch the screen until I tell you to stop.
Doctor Tora enters to observation area that Abigail is in. Handing her a cup of coffee, he looks at the image of Benton’s brain.
“Any conclusions thus far,” Dr. Tora asks.
“Too soon,” Abigail answers; “we only just started.”
“How’s your daughter?”
“Liv is doing fine,” Abigail answers; “she chose to follow a career path similar to her father’s.”
“She is still attending that academy in Seattle,” Tora Tachibana asks.
“Yep,” Abigail answers; “She has a small one bedroom apartment near the academy, but she still comes home now and then.”
“Can’t resist your beef pot roast I see,” Doctor Tora chuckles.
“That and her friend Jean Talbot lives here;” Abigail chuckling in response.
“Ummm as much as I find your conversation interesting,” Benton speaking up; “But you might want to shut the speakers off if you wish to keep it private.”
“Oh shit,” Doctor Tora blurts as he realizes his cup of coffee was on the button.”
“Sorry mister Knight, “doctor Abigail speaking up. But you talked when you were asked to be silent. So we have to start this all over again.”
“I better Leave,” Doctor Tora knowing he ruined the whole procedure; “Don’t want to screw it all up again.”
