Several hours had passed and it was now dinner time. Zack's Mom had made his favorite, spaghetti and meatballs. Zack decided to have a little more fun at Susan's expense. He made a small wish and watched as her chair morphed into a high chair and the pasta before her was replaced by an open jar of baby formula.
Zack grinned. "thanks for the dinner mom."
His mother smiled. "your welcome sweetie." as she spoke Zach noticed she held a utensil in each hand, a fork for her own spaghetti and a small spoon she used to feed Susan. A realization hit Zack as he saw this. Zack's mom was a single mother who struggled to support two children on a single salary, and Zack's wishes were just creating more things his mother had to do. Feeling guilty about this, Zack wished that his family was wealthy. The house around them changed rather dramatically, not only was the house signifiganylt bigger, the quality of the furniter had improved signifigantly. More important than that, Zack noticed the tired, harried appearance that had affected his mother for so long had disappeared. Glad to see this, Zack also wished that he be the one caring for Susan in regards to any wish he made. As he did, Susan and her high chair moved, shifting closer Zack. Zack picked up the spoon and began to feed her, thinking about other wishes to make. An idea struck Zack, he made the wish and waited expectantly.
Susan soon looked downward, her face bright red. "H-hey Zack."
Zack looked at her, a smirk across his face. "yeah Susie?"
Susie continued to stare downward, not noticing the infantilizing of her name, something she normally hated. "C-could you umm, do the airplane thing."
Zack's smile widened, his wish had been twofold. First, he wished that everyone called Susan Susie, as Susan felt to mature. Second, he'd made it so that Susie enjoyed things that a baby would enjoy. However, he had made certain that while she didn't notice the change, she would still be embarrassed by her childish interests.
"Sure, here comes the plane. Woosh." Zack said, moving the spoon in an exaggerated manner. Susie's face was beet red, clearly having fun in spite of herself.
