The sounds of the forest envelops you as you decide to go deeper into the forest. You wince and push through the the forest underbrush trying your best to ignore the humid heat around you.
In the distance you can hear the faint noise of several small animals moving through the leaves. Your only source light were the beams of sunlight that would go through the thick forest roof, giving the forest a ominous aura, as you see the lights being your only hope of navigation. If it were to become nighttime, your eyes would be blinded by nothing but darkness, vulnerable to any predator out there.
You shake those grim thoughts away, and start proceeding, looking for any path or sign, hoping to see even the slightest sign of civilization.
It seems like ages as you walk deeper and deeper. You feel the slightest panes of hunger and the forest hear still hasn't faded, your own exhaustion fueling your suffering. You were barely aware that you had left the shift you took off behind quite a while ago, too lazy to bother carrying it.
You sweat more, and finally in a effort to cool down you take off your shoes, and socks, relishing in the freedom of your feet cooling. You continue further, your feet unaccustomed to the rough forest floor making each step painful but not unbearable.
You then take off your jeans, leaving them behind, with you now only in your boxers lost in a forest.
Thankfully taking off most of your clothes has helped you you begin to cool down slightly.
By now your feet are aching and you sit down and rest behind a large tree, regaining your strength.
Then....
