The ruins of the ancient temple were like a painting stuck in time. Vines grew off the walls, and several rooms inside the temple had collapsed over time. The temple would've looked awe inspiring years ago but now it was reduced to nothing but a shell.
Sensing your hesitation and shock, the leopard went behind you and started pushing you gently towards the path leading to the temple.
You gulp, and begin making your way there. The old gravel path hurts your bare feet as you look at the statue in front of the temple.
It depicted a beautiful armored woman holding a mighty longbow preparing to load it with a stone arrow. The most definitive feature however was the bestial leopard head that replaced where the woman's head should be.
You follow the leopard once again, into the old ruins and notice how the inside of the temple was much worse condition than the outside.
The floor was jagged and uneven and the walls were littered with moss and vines. You see the scrap remains of what you would have assumed were paintings and murals barely legible by now.
You follow the leopard into a grand hall leading to a massive throne room. Another two smaller statues of the Leopard woman stood on each side beside the stone Throne. The throne was covered in branches and leaves and had a very natural aura to it, as if it belonged in the wild.
The throne room was the only part of the temple that looked well kept. The floor was clean and smooth, and the stairs looked as if they had been polished recently.
