"Hold it right there!" barked a voice. Sarah and Mary Alice yelped in surprise before freezing. They heard the sound of footsteps and they turned their heads to see who it was. Standing there were a pair of Animalians, obviously wolves. They were about the same size and of a considerable muscular build, though not as heavily built as Samson or the bulls. However, the two wolves were wearing something that Sarah hadn't seen on any of the uplifted animals so far: uniforms, police uniforms to be precise. The uniforms weren't extremely extensive, namely consisting of police hats, light blue shirts, black ties, dark blue pants, and badges. They didn't even have guns, though that might have been a good case.
While plenty of people would have been intimidated by these large wolf-men officers, Sarah and Malice had somewhat different reactions when their sharp canine noses picked up the earthy musk coming off the wolves. Sarah flushed a bit under fur. She heard about the appeal of having a man in uniform, but that always seemed like a distant opportunity until now. Sarah could feel her nipples getting stiff enough to be seen through the fur on her chest. She quickly wrapped one arm around her breasts and used her other hand to cover her privates.
Malice, on the other hand, hadn't yet developed the sense of modesty that humans normally did. And she was finding the scent of these two males rather enticing. "What seems to be the problem, officer?" she purred, her tail wagging.
The two wolves exchanged annoyed glances before the brown-furred one said, "I know that clothes don't always feel good against fur, but we can't have every animal walking around indecent like you two."
"Well, er, we just outgrew our clothes," said Sarah in a quieter voice.
The wolves exchanged another look and the grey-furred one said, "Ah, double-dosers."
"Some pups are in such a hurry to grow up," muttered the brown one.
"Ok, you ladies come with us to the station. We'll have something to cover you up until you can get something more appropriate," said the grey one. With that, the two wolves started leading the husky sisters through the settlement. The huskies couldn't help but notice how the wolves' uniforms did little to hide their muscular forms, even from the back: those wide shoulders, those broad backs, their tight butts... Sarah had to snap herself out of it before she got too caught up and gave Malice a shake to clear her thoughts.
The police station in the settlement wasn't very large compared to the police station in town. Inside, the scent of wolf musk was rather thick, which made sense since every officer there was a wolf. There were different coat colors and some were a bit smaller or larger than others, but they all looked tough enough to take on just about anything.
However, not all the wolves there were males. There were plenty of females to balance things out. One such female with a tawny coat approached Sarah and Malice. She was around the same size of them, though perhaps a little more muscular. "More nudists?" she asked, "You'd think they'd at least try to cover themselves up a little."
"Actually, Shelly, they're double-dosers," said the brown-furred wolf that brought them in, "Outgrew their clothes altogether."
"Ah, that explains it," said Shelly before turning to the huskies and saying, "You two better come with me." Sarah and Malice followed Shelly towards the back. Sarah blushed as she felt almost every male wolf's eyes following her and checking her out. Malice felt considerable less shame and waved and winked at a few wolves.
Shelly lead them into a storage room and fished a pair of uniforms out of a box before tossing them to the pair. "Here, put those on. They'll have to do until you can get something more to your style," said Shelly.
Sarah quickly started putting the uniform on, relieved that the panties comfortably stretched around her hips and the bra firmly held her larger breasts. As she was putting her pants on, she asked, "If you don't mind me asking, why are all the police officers here wolves?"
Shelly gave her a canine grin and said, "Because we're the best at it. Enforcing the law, taking care of troublemakers, holding up the chain of command, that's being part of the pack."
"Why would we even need a police force?" asked Sarah as she was putting her shirt on.
"Mainly to appear that we're organize," said Shelly, "Besides, there may be some who don't care to follow the 10 Edicts. Fortunately, we haven't had would-be carnivores trying to eat anyone civilized. But if something like that does happen, we'll be here to take care of the brute it gets worse."
"Uh-huh, makes sense," said Malice absently as she looked at herself in the mirror, "Wow, I look good in uniform." Sarah had to agree. Somehow, being fully clothed increased the husky woman's allure. Perhaps it was because everything she had to offer wasn't on display now.
But Sarah was thinking of mostly thinking of other matters. Namely, she was imagining the police force with canine members such as German shepherds or Dobermans in uniform. That could certainly add to the effectiveness of this pack. Perhaps a pair of huskies would be welcome additions.
