Josh was about to try and lunge at you on the ground but luckily you quickly rolled to the side at the last second, hearing Josh slam into the Rock. You get off the ground quickly and try and distance yourself as much as you can from Josh, with your back against the bookshelf. He was bigger than you but you were pretty fast and strong yourself.
"Dude calm down! I'm not your enemy!" you say.
"It's too late now anyway! We are both stuck here so I might as well kill you!" he screams, his face contorted in some kind of twisted rage.
"What kind of logic is that?" you shout as you see Josh try and lunge at you again. This time you weren't able to dodge and feel yourself crash into the bookshelf . Josh tries to pin you against the wall but you manage to slip through and get away from his grasp.
You can taste blood in your mouth as you realize that fighting was the only option now.
Josh tries to swing a punch but goes too wide with you being able to dodge it. You back away from him and quickly scan the room for anything that could act as a weapon. You had no chances against a guy like him, you'll need a massive advantage if you wanted to beat him. Then something clicks as you see the stairway that lead to the other room.
Josh tries to throw another punch but misses as you nimbly move around him and this time stand in front of the stairway.
Josh in his rage swings another punch not realizing the trap. As he extends his arm you firmly grab his thick arm and using his own heavy momentum you move aside from the stairwell and throw him down the flight of stairs. You hear several thuds and the breaking of a couple bones as you see Josh's body crash down back to the original room.
You feel an immense amount of guilt as you see his unmoving facedown body lay down at the steps of the stairs, his long pained moans the only proof that he was still alive. His body twitched occasionally as he layed there, a small pool of blood forming around his head
You had done it. You had purposely hurt another human being. Granted it was in self defense though it still wasn't any less bad. You were about to go down to him and see if you could help him but then, as if fueled by some unnatural strength, you see Josh stagger up his moans increaseing as he moves his damage body around. You see him cough up blood and watch as he grabs the sharp metal axe that had been laying in the other room and proceed to slowly climb up the stairs like a desperate zombie.
He looks into your eyes and all you see is a grim determination that only the most mentally deranged could have as his pace quickens and he starts almost running up the stairs. It was only a matter of seconds before he reaches you and uses that axe of his.
