Vivian and Karen Teller were both very pleased to see Tad again and were curious and eager to meet Amy. They remembered Tad smiling at the mention of a neighbor when he and his mother had visited, which had told them that Tad had found someone that caught his fancy and that raised their curiosity greatly. Tad's arrival gave them the chance to indulge in that curiosity, which had been eating at them a bit, as everyone knows about cats and curiosity. Vivian lead them into kitchen area where Karen was sipping some decaf coffee and putting away some dirty dishes.
"Guess who's come to give us a visit?" Vivian announced as she entered the kitchen with Tad and Amy following behind.
"The Queen of Sheba?" Karen asked playfully while taking a sip of her coffee.
Amy gave a low chuckle as she caught onto the playful tone that Karen had answered her wife with. She guessed these two had to be Jen's mothers. They didn't look much older than Jen did, but then, weres did live a long time and signs of "middle age" didn't really appear until a were approached two hundred. It may create some odd stories, as while physical aging couldn't change, mentalities and maturity was something that commonly did change with age. Amy remembered stories of some old timers back from when Moon Lake was first founded that lived as though they were still in the Middle Ages. The banter that went on between Vivian and Karen sounded like a loving couple that had a great deal of fun together, though Amy also had to admit that outside of school and a few social events that included the entire town, she wasn't that familiar with all of Moon Lake's werecats, so she really didn't know enough to fully introduce herself to Vivian and Karen.
"No, it's me," Tad spoke up, "and I brought Amy with me."
Karen looked over and smiled as she saw Tad standing beside a teenage girl who looked to be about the same age as he was. She was well built in every sense of the word and Karen detected the scent of werewolf on the girl. This had to be the girlfriend that Tad had mentioned when he and Jen had visited. Karen gave a warm smile as she looked to Tad.
"So... this is the friend who's caught your eye," Karen mused, "She treating you right?"
"Of course," Tad answered, "Amy, these are my mom's moms." He then pointed to both Karen and Vivian as he introduced them. "This is Karen and Vivian Teller."
"It's a pleasure to meet you, dear," Vivian said to Amy, "Tad told us a lot about you when he and his mother visited a few days ago."
"That you've been helping adapt to Moon Lake," Karen added.
"I have," Amy answered, "but he's also been very helpful to me and my family as well."
Karen and Vivian traded glances and smiled with the thought going through their minds that Tad was reminding them of Jen in that sense. It'd make for a good report to congratulate Jen on later.
"And you guys said something about wanting to meet my girlfriend, so I figured I'd stop by before we head home," Tad added. "That is okay?"
Karen was quick to finish her coffee and say with a smile, "Of course. Vivian and I both love to hear stories about you and your adventures. Schools, sporting events, and other things, but that was mostly in photos. It's now something great to actually meet someone that you have an interest in in person."
Tad smiled and wrapped his arms around Amy's shoulders.
"Why don't we go into the living room?" Vivian offered, "we can talk better there and take a loud off our feet. I don't know if the school is still pressuring students into working hard, but Karen and I got off work a little while ago and it would be nice to sit down."
The others nodded. Karen came around and placed a hand on Tad's shoulders as well as on Amy's as she turned around. They watched as Vivian lead them back into the living room. Karen ushered them to the couch and watched as her guests sat down. From there, she moved to sit in the same chair she had sat in during Tad and Jen's visit.
"So... how did you two meet?" Karen asked as she sat down.
"He saw me as I was walking to my bus stop," Amy answered, "so, we talked and made friends. Since then we've enjoyed talking and some friendly conversation began."
"That sounds good," Vivian smiled.
"It is," Amy answered as she held Tad's hand
Tad smiled at that.
