"So," Vivian said, "There's no doubt that you two have heard about what happened in Seattle."
"Yeah," Tad said, "It's a little unnerving, but I'm just happy knowing that my dad's killer is off the streets."
"True," Karen said, taking a sip of her coffee, "I'm glad to see that you're not panicking as much as some people are."
"A lot of people at school are pretty scared," Amy said, "But seeing as how no one has come to Moon Lake looking for information on Ulysses, I don't think we have anything to worry about for a while."
There was a moment of silence before Tad broke it, saying, "Do you think anything will find out about Moon Lake's secret?"
"Sweetie, Moon Lake has kept its secret for 200 years," Karen said, "I don't think it will be broken anytime soon."
"But if someone does expose the secret," Karen said, "We'll just have to show them that weres are still people."
