It took about five days to reach Redbelt, after your fight with the merchants nothing of interest had happened as you traveled. The long gash you had gotten from one of the merchant bodyguards had since mostly healed, becoming a dull ache now. It was still sore but you could walk.
Your injury was the least of your worries however, you had killed a man. A man would only attacked you because he saw you as a danger.
You knew that people would attack you now that you were a demon, but actually being injured and nearly killed was another thing. You could only hope that the white mage could and would help you.
As you walked over a small hill you finally found it. Redbelt. You saw it just over the horizon, a massive grouping of houses, stores, and churches. You could faintly hear the noise and chatter of the people as they went about their daily lives, the yells of merchants as they told people of their prices, and the sound of wagons and carriages going in and out of the town.
You quickened your pace, making sure to be wary of any nearby travelers, the last thing you need was someone telling people of your arrival.
You pulled your hood over your furred face, making sure to have every part of your body hidden. As you neared the noise of the town grew louder as you found yourself standing in front of the gate to Redbelt, other people rushed around you, entering and leaving Redbelt at their leisure.
You didn't know whether or not you wanted to go inside the town. If you were caught then chances of escape would be impossible. Trying to rent a room at a inn was just straight up out of the question. Should you risk it?
