"Becky," she says hopefully as she leans in. "Please... let me know if-."
Suddenly the eyes of the young wolf changed, turning vicious. With a short growl, the wolf lunged at the counselor, teeth bared. Instinctively the counselor raised her arm up, blocking the attack from her head and throat. The wolf bit down hard on her arm, and her scream was heard as she fell backwards. Your stomach growls again.
Tina starts to move forward to help, and Rachel quickly tries to yank her back. However Tina was too quick, leaving Rachel grabbing nothing but air. The others that were watching quickly divided into those running inside, those who rushed forward to help, and a few others that were so terrified they were standing perfectly still - several staring at the movement in the trees.
Two girls ran forward with oars they had from the dock on the lake and prepared to beat down the animal. Tina foolishly ran up and tried to grab the creature and pull it back, only succeeding in stopping the oars from being swung and twisting the woman forward as the wolf refused to let go of the arm. One of them almost ended up striking the counselor on the head.
Then, without warning, the wolf's grip slipped, and the animal fell backwards on top of Tina as the counselor likewise fell away onto her own rear, her arm's flesh bleeding badly with blood going everywhere. The wolf rolled back and forth on top of Tina, swatting at the oars and biting left and right to try to stop from getting hit, or at least regain its footing. Meanwhile Tina was getting somewhat crushed underneath, holding on tight enough to prevent Becky from rightening herself.
All in all, a part of you was starting to find this chaos rather funny.
Then you noticed the middle-aged medic woman running forward with a rifle, screaming at the girls to clear out of the way as she leveled it at the struggling animal. Sudden worry for the young wolf springs up within you.
