It took quite a lot of hard work for Jessica Mariana to convince her parents to let her join Animalia. This was understandable as changing one's species for the rest of your life was no small matter. Jessica had put a lot of thought into what she wanted. She very much wanted to be a double-doser like Abby and Sarah, but her parents firmly said no. They weren't about to let their daughter skip through her puberty. Still, Jessica had proven she could be responsible enough to become part of Animalia, namely through applying herself harder than ever with school as well trying to find a part-time job to pay for any extra expenses her new lifestyle would demand. Then again, Jessica wasn't planning on becoming an animal that was high maintenance.
Her parents drove her through the residential area of Animalia. She had to admit, what those beavers did with their log cabins were impressive. Imagine how what they could do when have more access to building materials like concrete and steel. Not that they didn't use some already, but wood was still their primary building material.
Eventually, they arrived at one of the apartment buildings. "It's still not too late to change your mind," said Jessica's mom, "You don't have to change yourself in any way."
"I know, but I want to," said Jessica, "Heck, I bet half the school's going to be Animalians before the year's over."
"Half of the school already are," said Jessica's dad dryly.
"I'm not counting the uplifted one," said Jessica, "Besides, my best friends are already Animalians."
"Sophie isn't, neither is her pet," said Jessica's mom.
"Sophie can choose what she wants to be. Abby and Sarah had accidents. And I'm actually making the choice," said Jessica, "Nothing's going to change about me besides the way I look. You don't have to worry about me being someone different."
"It's not that," said Jessica's dad, "We just want the best for you."
"If you want the best for me, you ought to let me have a double dose," said Jessica.
"No," said her parents flatly.
"Fine, I'll be back out in a few minutes," said Jessica before getting out of the car and heading towards the apartment building.

Jessica walked up to the apartment where her 'donor' was waiting. After checking the number on the door again, she knocked. The door opened almost instantly. Standing in the door was an anthro rabbit with grey fur in a white bathrobe. She wasn't as tall as the other Animalians that Jessica had seen, but she was still considerably taller than Jessica, though much of was her long legs and her ears. "Oh, you must be Jessica, come on in," said the rabbit, stepping to the side.
Jessica walked into the apartment. It wasn't a large apartment, but there was only so big an apartment can get in a structure that was primarily wood. At least it had all the basic furniture and appliances, even if the divide between the rooms was a bit hard to distinguish. "I was kinda expecting something bigger," said Jessica.
"It's a lot roomier than my old burrow. It's practically a palace," said the rabbit.
Jessica just smiled a bit to herself. Clearly this rabbit hadn't been a pet before she was uplifted. But then again, uplifted Animalians seemed less prone to human weaknesses such as greed. "I'm sorry, I forgot your name. What was it?" asked Jessica.
"It's Judy," said the rabbit.
Jessica raised an eyebrow and said, "Judy, really? You just went with that?"
"It seemed like a good name for myself when I first got two legs," said Judy, "I hadn't even heard of 'Zootopia' until recently. Besides, you're not much of one to talk, Jessica."
Jessica rolled her eyes and laughed. "Ok, my name did help me pick which animal I wanted to mix with. I only hope I end up a third as sexy as her, even if I can't have more than one drink."
"Right, so, shall we get to this?" asked Judy as she started unfastening her robe.
"Er, actually, can't you just put in a cup or something?" asked Jessica.
"Sure, just give me a minute," said Judy before walking towards the kitchen area. Jessica waited patiently, trying to ignore the soft moaning she heard. Eventually, Judy walked back, looking a little flushed. "Here it is," she said, handing Jessica a wooden cup that had milk in it.
"Er, thanks. Would you mind if I did it..." Jessica paused and looked around. There weren't that many doors here except at one place, "In the bathroom?"
"Sure. It makes no difference to me," said Judy.
"Thanks," said Jessica before heading into the bathroom and closing the door behind her. The bathroom was about as large as her own bathroom, which meant there was enough room between the sink, the toilet, and the shower. With a little hesitation, Jessica stripped off her clothing. She took one lack look at herself in the mirror, seeing a 14 year old girl with shoulder length red hair and green eyes. Her body was showing signs of puberty, namely a slight curve to her hips and the beginning of cones on her chest. Jessica lifted up her cup in a toast and said, "To a new me," before drinking the milk. Rabbit milk was less flavorful than cow milk, though it did have a sweet aftertaste.
It didn't take too long after that for Jessica to start feeling the changes start. She could feel a tingle go all over her skin. The faint hairs on her limbs starting to become a little longer and more hairs were appearing. She could feel a twinge in her backside and she turned her head to see a little nub emerging from over her butt. The hair quickly spread over it, fluffing out quite a bit until she had a little cottontail. Then she felt like her feet were turning to jelly, forcing her to sit down on the toilet. She watched as her feet stretched to an absurd length before the ends of them started to form into paws. Pretty quickly, she soon had a pair of rabbit's feet. By then, the hair on her body was starting to thicken into fur. But instead of being grey like Jody's, Jessica's fur was white. Her hands didn't seem to change much, asides from pink pads appearing on her palms. Then she felt the greatest itching on her nose as it started to change shape. Her whole face stretched very slightly into a short muzzle as short whiskers appeared. Then her ears went numb and her hearing seemed to turn off. However, it came back clearer and clearer as her ears started to migrate to the top of her head, gaining considerable length as they moved.
Jessica thought her transformation was complete when she felt a shudder go through her torso, particularly centered on her erogenous zones. Jessica gave a low moan as she cupped her small breasts. However, they didn't feel as small as she last remembered. She looked down to see that her breasts were swelling in her hands, becoming bigger and losing their pointy cone shape for something more spherical. Of course, she still had her red hair and green eyes, which went quite well together with her new fur coat. She was considerably taller now thanks to her rabbit legs, but the most unexpected change was to her figure. She had started out as barely registering as pubescent, but now it looked like she was an early bloomer. Her small breasts had swelled up to BB cups. Her hips had widened considerably and her rear was looking plush under her new cottontail. Combined with her trim waist, it gave her a respectable hourglass figure for a 14 year old. Jessica was a bit confused as to why her figure would improve like this, though she had heard that the virus was supposed to make people healthier. Maybe she had been on the cusp of a growth spurt and the virus made her bloom a little earlier. Either way, she was very pleased with this, even if she didn't have a completely adult figure.
Getting dressed was a slight hassle as there were a few clothes that she simply could not wear again. Her socks, shoes, and training bra were obviously incompatible and her panties and pants were a tighter squeeze now. No matter, she'll be able to update her wardrobe for her new body in time. Giving one last look at the cute bunny girl in the mirror, Jessica headed out of the bathroom. Her parents will be surprised to see her now.
