Your run becomes stiffer, and is very soon reduced to a hobble. Your knees and feet ache and sting. You don't want to look down at them, but you can't help but stop and look, it hurts so much. You see that all your toes are missing except two which are hanging on by some bits of skin and your feet and your knees are starting to crack and rip open. Running and leaping on them probably pulverized them; they're unusually soft inside-- and green inside. Tranlucent blood resembling dark lime Slush Puppy syrup oozes out of the wounds, and seeps into the ground. You try to lift you feet, but they're stuck to the ground! You pull hard, despite the pain, and manage to free one foot, but as you pull on the other, you hear a horrifying wet tear as a deep crack in its shin rips completey and it comes off, still stuck to the ground. As salt water streams from your eyes, a heavier stream of warm green blood flows from the open stub and onto your free foot, causing it to cling to the ground instantly. The stuggle had been worse than futile.
