...Royal Family Rooms.
You open the door an inch, and see a grand four-post bed. "Only a king and queen would be in a bed that size" you think to yourself. You motion for the others to stay quiet, and you creep in. You silently make your way to a desk sitting in the corner, and search it. Nothing but some blank paper, ink jar, and a writing quill. You're about to turn away when you see some lines drawn on the bottomost paper. Upon closer inspection, it's actually a map of the place. You locate your position and find the the entrance to the main tower is only down the hall. Apparently it was originally going to be the Princess's room before the disaster.
You walk over to theother door so that you can get to the tower, but halt in your tracks when it opens a little. Silently hurrying against the wall behind it, you hear voices and watch as the door opens a little more. As the door opens all the way you hear "Well I don't care, this new challenger has lasted the longest, and it's starting to worry me. He's turned a witch and a ghost against me, you understand? What if he convinces the others to do so? I'll be killed, that's what!"
Your eyes open wide in fear as you recognize that as the Sorcerer's voice. You wait expectantly as he walks into the room and sits down on the bed. He faces away from you, but can clearly see the door. Good thing he left it open. You place your hand on the hilt of your sword, ready to charge and lob his head off, but you pause when you hear a feminine voice.
"Master, may I enter now?" The sorcerer looks up and gives a nasty smile. "Why yes, my dear. Show yourself!" Wondering what's about to happen, you watch as a girl around your age (geez, we're getting a theme here) dressed in a French maid outfit enters the room. She appears to be one of those Nekos, a highly regarded race. But this one seems to have the life beaten out of her, for she eyes are dull, her skin is dirty, and her hair is ratty. Her long cat's tail hangs down without moving, a sign of ill health. Her ears twitch and she glances at you for a split second, her eyes widening a little. The Sorcerer runs over to the door and slams it, quickly turning to her without noticing you in the least.
"You never was one for doing it with the doors open, were you? But forget that, come over to the bed." You watch as she limps over to the bed, falling down once she reaches it. The Sorcerer grabs her wrist and yanks her up. You hear her suppressed wimper, and feel sorry for her. You watch as He lifts up her skirt, showing he panties. "My, my, what do we have here?" You frown as he plays around a little with the edge of her undewear before pulling them off. Deciding that this was enough, you silently creep over. You edge around the bed, slowly drawing your sword so as not to make any noise.
As you lift your sword high above your head, you wink at the girl. She gets up off of him, sending him into a confused fluster. He turns around and watches as you bring three feet of cold steel down on his body. The sword crushes his fragile bones with ease, swiftly going through his body. You watch as he sits there for a moment, feeling his wound. He then falls to the floor in two pieces, leaking a puddle of blood out from under him. You stare at his body for a while before looking up.
All three girls are standing in front of you, silently. they look down at his body, trying to contemplate their newfound freedom. After a minute, they walk over to the door with you. They all give you a hug, crying tears of joy now that the Sorcerer was dead. You hug them back a tear coming to your eye. Eventually they calm down, and leave the room with you.
As you walk out of the door to the hallway with the tower, you almost have a heart attack. Ghosts, Undead, wizards and witches, skeletonss, and even some suits of armor are all standing there, staring. You pull out your sword, knowing that even though you'll die, you'll die a hero. But your alarm was in vain, for they all began cheering. Hat, cloaks, and even a few skeletal skulls were thrown in the air as everyone cheered you for killing the Sorcerer. It appeared that they all wanted to congratulate you personally, each one rushing forward to shake your hand and thank you for getting rid of that monster. That last part was a bit funny, for some monsters themselves said it.
Eventually they stopped coming up to you, and broke to the sides of the hallway like the Nile for Moses, and let you continue. You waved at all of those you passed, catching gifts that some threw at you. You were grateful for these gifts, for they were mostly stuff to help you fight the dragon at the end. You caught potions that made you impervious to flame, gloves that kept your hands cool when touching the scalding scales of a dragon, and more useful items. You caught these and handed them to your companions, at least the useful items. Others threw money, and one girl threw her red panties at you. You looked up and saw a group of stunning Elvish girls batting their eyes, giving you lustful looks. You smile and wave back as you head into the base of the tower to prepare.
