As Benton was sitting in the office reserved for the eldest were sitting on the elder council; Benton can’t help but mutter, “so much for this being my office one day.”
Before Benton attacked several security guards at Tachibana Enterprises for losing out on his hostile takeover bid of Tachibana’s company; he was the were-panther rep for the council. Now his brother Lance sits pro-tem for when Frieda turns twenty one. With his wife next to him as well as the Anderson’s; were-foxes as they were in their fursonas, Tachibana was sitting behind her desk just as Lance entered the office and closed the door.
“Now that your all her,” Tachibana speaking; “it will save me the trouble of having to repeat the story multiple times.”
“What story,” Benton looking impatient; “I and Amanda came here to be with our daughter, and Lance tells me we can’t hang around to be with her?”
“Benton,” Tachibana looking serious; “as a former council member, you know the rules in regards to statue 1A trials.”
“I’m not asking to sit in and observe,” Benton growling; “I want to make sure Frieda is okay.”
“She is fine brother,” Lance sighing; ”now will you shut up so Tachibana can speak? There will be time to be with Frieda.”
Benton just glares as he reluctantly shuts his maw allowing Tachibana to say what she needs to say.
“While I slept, I dreamt of my husband Enzo. My bond mate who has been dead for sixty plus years.” Tachibana pausing before continuing, “Days before the bomb fell on Hiroshima, I had a dream where I was given a vison of the impending tragedy. I had enough time to get my family out of the city; save my husband. It was a strange individual that warned me to get out while I could; while I heeded the prophecy dream I was given, I have suffered greatly for being alone to this day.”
Tachibana pausing to take a sip of some tea sitting on her desk; she stares at the were-panther and were-foxes listening to her. “Early this morning that same strange man visited my dreams again. Using my husband as a means to get his message across; his message had to do with the bond your children have with Spencer Lawson.”
“Okay,” Benton looking serious; “you have my attention. What does this have to do with Frieda?”
“And Eric,” William speaking up.
“That the three, Eric, Frieda and Spencer must not be separated for the next few days. Their bond is like the bond a were-fox forms with their mate; only more intense. This bond of theirs is love in its purest form. Unbridled and raw; it’s what make their love making and the time they spend together magical and intense.”
“Tell me something I don’t know,” Benton responding; “those three kept me up with worry Tuesday evening with their love making after the were-panther gathering.”
“The smell of their scents mingling and mixing during sex is like an aphrodisiac, it makes other weres around them want to rut like they did when they were younger.” Tachibana looking at Benton and Amanda; ”It’s why you Benton and you Amanda had a wonderful time last night isn’t it.”
“How did you know what we did last night,” Amanda looking shocked.
“I was told in my dreams,” Tachibana answers; looking at the Anderson; “and I imagine you two couldn’t keep your paws of each other last night.”
“And Tuesday night,” William pursing his lips; “even Nate our oldest had a wild romp with a were-lioness that night as well.”
“Now,” Tachibana tenting her paws; “I’m telling you this because of what happened earlier outside of the building.”
“What happened,” Benton asking?
“Julie Stovall, tried to attack Eric and Frieda as we were walking to building entrance,” Lance speaks up; “Eric was extremely pissed and let loose his fursona and stepped in front of Frieda, his way of trying to protect her.”
“How chivalrous,” Benton commenting; “what else happened?”
“Frieda also shifted into her fursona and both were growling and baring their claws at Julie,” Lance sighs; “but it was Daisuke and Yamoto’s choice of actions to diffuse the altercation.”
“What did they do,” Benton growling; “did they harm the children?”
“No,” Lance answering; “they brandish weapons while stepping in between the three. They threaten to use them if either attacked.”
“Tachibana,” Benton growling.
“I will talk to my grandsons, “Tachibana looking stern; “in due time. But back to matter regarding my dream. While I managed put it out of my mind shortly after I woke up; this morning’s fracas brought it back to the forefront.” Tachibana pausing, “they have an emotional link between each other. When together, the three help bring each other safely down from whatever emotional turmoil they are experiencing. Currently Eric and Frieda are feeling restless, possibly defensive. And I imagine so is Spencer Lawson who is currently racing over here after bolting from Nate Anderson’s car parked at Moon Lake High.”

Spencer was racing through town at breakneck speed. As a were, she was able to make quick work of all the streets and wooded areas between her and the council building. While she had no idea where the building was situated in the town; Spencer just let her bond with Eric and Frieda be her guide. Sensing their need for her; Spencer allows the emotional link she has with Eric and Frieda show her the way.
“I’m coming,” Spencer running towards the council building; “I won’t stop until we are yin, yang and whole again.”
*****
“Are you saying,” Benton looking shocked; “that Spencer is heading over here as we speak?”
“Principal Andrews called,” Tachibana answered; “minutes before you arrived.”
“That explains the text Nate sent,“ Martha speaking; “but I don’t get why you are doing nothing to stop this?”
“Because Martha,” Tachibana stating; “the strange man that visited my dreams, is the same man that visited Amanda and Benton here in their dreams.”
“How,” Amanda looking shocked; “my car accident Friday evening.”
“My vision of going feral or holding my granddaughter,” Benton looking alarmed.
“Yes,” Tachibana responds; “he also talked to Eric, Spencer and Frieda.”
“They had the same dream I was shown,” Benton looking spooked; “their cubs being born.”
“And he visited Julie Stovall,” Tachibana sighing; “twice. And from what the strange man told me, those meetings did not go so well. But before I woke up,” Tachibana speaking; “the strange man gave me this warning. Under no circumstances do we keep Eric, Spencer and Frieda apart from each other; least of all for the next few days.”
