Todd Carson held his breath. He couldn't believe his luck. He had just finished working on the De Soto furnace, and was down on the floor putting his tools away, when he glanced up to see a tiny naked man drop down from the basement window on to the work bench. Silently, Todd inched toward the work bench, trying to stay below the level of work table.
Matt reached for the window and discovered that it was secured so that it could only open a few inches for ventilation, but not enough for a full sized man or even child. He instantly decided to shrink down to 12 inches. He'd still be twice as big as Brett. He stepped into the well, and sank in his collapsing clothing. He should have expected that his clothing wouldn't shrink too, he frowned, and made a mental note to use the wand to make his clothing shrink with him next time. He followed Brett through the window.
Todd rose up like a monster looming over Brett. His right hand closed around the terrified 6 inch teen. His left arm stretched out, and his left hand closed around a startled 12 inch Matt. He couldn't believe that he was throwing a boner inside the rough hand of some workman. Todd grinned, and boomed, "AT LEAST ONE OF YOU IS HAPPY TO SEE ME!"
Instantly, Matt wished he was his normal size. Nothing happened. Of course, he realized, he had only wished for the power to shrink at will, not the power to change size or grow. Todd adjusted his grip so that he could better examine his new captives.
Brett pleaded as he saw the wicked gleam in Todd's eye, "Mr. Carson, please take me to my father and then make Matt make me big again, please!"
Todd shook his head and turned his attention to his other captive, so this little man had shrunk Brett, now that would be a neat power to have. He could think of a few fellows he'd like to reduce to personal pet status, starting with Brett's brother Don.
Matt wriggled in his captor's strong hand. He'd need the wand, if he was going to get big again. Instantly, the silver wand appeared.
